I bought their annual subscription because I thought I was buying it for chatGPT. AS soon as I realized it was not (I didn't saw my previous chats or agents), I wrote them asking to cancel my subscription and get my money back - I never used any resource. They answered promptly, promising to review my request and get back to me. That never happened. I wrote them again, never got a reply. Days later I canceled my subscription inside the app and ask for help through the app. Paddle answered that they will turn this claim to the developers. Days later, they answered me back saying that they can't make a refund because I used all my resources-which never happened, I haven't used it. I escalated through PayPal, and that has been hard. First they said that the sale was not deceptive. I appealed. Then they replied that I had used up all my resources, never used them. I appealed. Then they replied that I had canceled too late; I canceled on the same day of the purchase. I appealed again, and I'm awaiting a resolution. Seeing the other reviews with situations similar to mine... I wonder if this is a scam?
Hot garbage. It's fraud built on imitating ChatGPT's look and feel without the functionality. For the life of my I couldn't figure out why ChatGPT on my phone was generating really nice useable OpenSCAD code but in the browser on my Mac it wasn't.Then I realized: the page in my browser wasn't OpenAI's ChatGPT. It was an imitation by fraudsters with good SEO so they're at the top of Google's results.I emailed them repeatedly asking for a refund. One auto-response and then nothing. It has been over a month I've been scammed. Avoid! [[EDIT Don't fall for it. In their reply they say they've sent email. They haven't.]]
This is a complete scam. I did pay around 103€ Nov 7th until I realized a few seconds after this was a scam. I immediately requested a refund to paddle.com which manages the payment for chatbot.app but their stupid IA agent only refunded half of that amount even though they cancelled my access to the Pro version. I asked many times to their bot to refund the full amount but he seems to have been programed to become stupid once you ask again and again to get your money back
The did a near exact clone of the ChatGPT service and I purchased this thinking it was the authentic, direct ChatGPT. IT IS NOT. I cancelled immediately and request a refund. They refused so I had to process a fraud claim through my credit card company.
