Extremely Disappointing Experience

I've previously expressed my concerns about this clinic due to subpar treatment. The professionalism is lacking across the board, from reception to the attending doctor. Although they initiated a referral to a specialist hospital, it was later canceled without my knowledge. I reached out to the specialist hospital, and they were helpful, but my experience with this clinic has been unacceptable. The overall reputation is poor, and significant improvements are needed in staff behavior and clinic hygiene.

Unacceptable Treatment Experience

The treatment was severely lacking. Initially, the clinic provided incorrect tests. After trying to reach the support team by phone, I waited over 3 hours without any response—completely unacceptable!

Lack of Customer Care

The administration is frustrating and shifts responsibility onto customers. I received a text cancelling my appointment, then was told to call back in two weeks without any available slots. I got a letter claiming they attempted to contact me and would cancel my referral in 28 days, only to later admit I might have already been in touch. It's aggravating when I've done my part, yet they can't handle their processes.

Difficult Experience Overall

This experience is hard to articulate. I’m appalled they operate this way. It feels like a rushed assembly line of patients, with many locations lacking receptionists. I had a terrifying experience with no prior warning about eye dilation drops, which exacerbated my anxiety. The facilities have been unclean, and on multiple occasions, I faced issues with staff misidentifying my medical history. While some locations were better than others, the overall administration is severely lacking, and cleanliness seems to be an afterthought.

Frustrating Appointment Booking Process

Booking an appointment is extremely challenging. Expect to spend a significant amount of time trying to get through. After multiple attempts and hours of calling, I was informed there were no appointments for months. I raised a complaint, and while the staff were nice enough to schedule something for next week, the overall process is inefficient.

Impressive Technology and Efficient Service

I've consistently found the staff to be friendly and efficient while monitoring my eyes for glaucoma. They utilize advanced scanning technology and I rarely have to wait long. The clinic's location is convenient, and I was surprised to see so many negative reviews, which have slightly shaken my confidence.

Frustrated with CHEC

I'm completely fed up with CHEC. While the staff are generally nice and in-person visits are timely, the administration is shockingly poor. I often face errors and wasted time, and every phone call to sort things out results in long wait times. I've decided to seek a different provider.

A group of practitioners who seem unaware of their roles, resulting in a toxic environment. They operate without proper supervision or accredited training across various specialties. If you want a trial-and-error approach to your treatment, this is the place.
