As a first time mum trying to navigate the world of pregnancy and newborn life, one thing I was sure of was encapsulating my placenta. Even though I have no comparison to another pregnancy, I was keen to do anything to avoid baby blues and keep as healthy as possible. After a recommendation from a friend, I contacted Nikki and she made the process effortless from start to finish. I went for the smoothies too and after a long traumatic labour, Nikki and my partner liaised and the smoothies were back in the hospital same day for me to enjoy along with newborn snuggles. The pills arrived a few days later at home and the instructions were simple on how to take. Lovely packaging and a sweet keepsake of the cord too. After suffering from some baby blues and finding the early weeks hard, I’m so glad I used cherished placentas as I dread to think how I would’ve felt if I hadn’t done it! Will definitely use again if there’s a no.2! X
I've heard about placenta encapsulation a few years ago (after I had my first baby). I thought interesting but didn't really pay much attention to it until recently when I had my second baby. I was so worried that I'll be tired, exhausted, sleep deprived, moody when the second one comes (as this happened with my first) that I started researching about placenta encapsulation again. I found cherished placentas online and started reading reviews. Only positive feedback. Not one person who said it didn't work. So, here we are 8 weeks after giving birth and I feel absolutely fantastic. I've healed much quicker, I felt much more rested even on little sleep. My highlight was when I had a play and chat session with my older daughter at school and she told her teacher that she has a little sister who is 4 weeks old and the teacher looked at me and said 'you look so well for having a 4 week old baby'. And I did feel well.I went for the energising capsules, 2 smoothies (after reading reviews I decided to get them) and the homeopathic remedies. I can't wait to see if they help my little one as much as the capsules helped me. Nikki was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I cannot recommend her enough. I won't have a third baby but if I did I would definitely ask for Nikki's services again. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

I booked Nikki’s encapsulation service fairly last minute after I’d seen reviews via Instagram. The process was smooth & communication was always so easy. The placenta capsules are little miracles in a pill & the fresh smoothie that I drank immediately after a long induction birth gave me amazing energy. My baby is a much longed for Rainbow baby & I was concerned how I would cope mentally & physically post partum. The placenta pills perked me up & really kept me going throughout that first challenging month with a newborn. The service is amazing and I would recommend Nikki to anyone expecting a new baby.
I don’t normally write reviews but Nikki at Cherished Placentas has really been amazing and played an important part in my post-natal recovery. From first engagement to the delivery of the smoothies and capsules, Nikki has been super responsive and very flexible with our ever changing plans / schedules (partly also due to Covid). She worked seamlessly with my doula and saved me (and my other half) so much time and hassle. The smoothies were delicious and they did genuinely make a difference to my physical and mental well-being (as I remember how difficult it was for me when trying to recovery from my first pregnancy). I also think that they helped enormously with breastfeeding (good supply)! All these have just meant that I bond a lot better this time round with my new baby 🥰 I really couldn’t thank and recommend Nikki enough for her professionalism and superb service / products!
