Just rejoined Cineworld after ceasing my account when Renfrew Street closed down.
It was an absolute hassle rejoining online.
I saw a couple of films and one subscription was taken from my account and then when I tried to book my next film, I had no access. I now have to go through all this joining procedure again, so frustrating
Zero customer service. They no longer have a phoneline. I contacted them through email and social media. Tried to book 3 tickets for an IMAX screening use the three voucher codes and the cineworld app for whatever reason took my money but the booking failed, cineworld app fault this was. Was told to go back to three and that cineworld could do nothing. At end of the day because of the cineworld app I have now lost 3 voucher codes and am still waiting for a refund 2 days later after the booking failed. Personally don’t see cineworld lasting much longer in all honesty when they have zero customer service
The company’s booking process is extremely frustrating, especially regarding accessibility. They don’t provide mixed screens for films, making it hard for wheelchair users to find suitable seating. Additionally, they don’t inform customers about lift outages, leading to wasted trips. The website only shows screen information at the end of the booking process, which is inconvenient. If they took customer feedback seriously and improved the booking process for accessible seating, it would enhance the experience significantly.
I spent 45 minutes trying to book two tickets online for a film. After logging in, I got stuck on a subscription page and couldn't proceed. I attempted to log in multiple times, but my details were not recognized, so I eventually gave up. I’ll just wait to purchase it on another platform.
My experience with the company has been very frustrating. It seems to lack proper accessibility for disabled individuals. They don’t mix screens for all films, making it hard for wheelchair users to find suitable seating. Communication about lift failures is poor, leading to wasted trips. The website doesn’t show screen information until the end of the booking process, which is annoying. If the company would just listen to feedback regarding the booking process for accessible seating, it could vastly improve the experience. I hope they take these concerns seriously.
There’s nothing wrong with having your ID checked. I found myself in a situation where I didn’t have an ID, and staff professionally assisted me by providing a different screening. This experience taught me to be more prepared in the future. ID checks are for the safety of everyone involved.
I had a very disappointing experience. I bought tickets as a guest shortly before the show started and didn’t receive a QR code or any receipts. When I contacted customer service, they refused to help, citing their policy regarding past performances. It’s frustrating that I couldn’t attend due to their system issues.
