Review Time
Sadly I have been bounced around by Clinical Partners for almost a year.
I had an initial assessment provided by my insurer which was done, this was then bounced back to the insurer - queue long wait to get next steps. This was then bounced back to clinical partners - queue long wait. It was bounced back and forth a few more times over about 8 months, all the while with treatment being approved. Each time I contacted Clinical Partners I received conflicting advice or conflicting requests for minor pieces of information. I waited for almost a month to have a list of clinicians sent to me while chasing every 3 days and being told 'the team are making sure the list is 100% accurate' or 'we want to make sure you get the best possible options, bear with us'. When I finally got the via list there were 2 names on it along with a comment of 'if you want to book one, either call or just reply'. I called - 40 minute wait (my bad) - and after a couple of times doing this managed to get through to someone who told me that 'sending the list with bookable names looks to have been an admin error, you need to submit us more forms of no use before you can book'. I am going through the hoops of that now.
I see the trustpilot rating is quite high so I guess my experience isn't the same as everyone else's. I'm not new to private medical at all but am new to Clinical Partners. They DO NOT offer the level of service that I see from other providers.
Fast effective process. In total from referral to diagnosis it was 10 months. The only thing I would change is for them to let you know that you are on the waiting list from x date rather than we’ll let you know if you qualify for an assessment because waiting all that time is quite stressful. But the process itself when you do get an appointment date through is very quick and efficient.
Absolutely excellent service.

I only waited six months from the time I was referred.
This is now opened many doors to opportunities and support going forward in life

I recently went through the diagnosis process with one of the mental health nurses.
The whole thing was done with such care, support and kindness.
I felt really looked after and heard.
Everyone I dealt with was kind and professional.
I've had mixed feelings about clinical partners, I've had great ongoing care/medication titration since my ADHD diagnosis with them in 2024.
But unfortunately had an awful time relating to my autism assessment/feedback. My 1st assessment was with a registered nurse, who was amazing, really thoughtful and caring, felt heard by her especially when reading her section of my assessment report, she had clearly understood me and recognised a lot of my difficulties.
My issue came with the 2nd part of the Autism assessment, my informant was never spoken to despite me saying he was available anytime it was needed, he was just sat in another room with our children, and as I said previously was able to join the assessment immediately for the informant section, but this never happened. My assessment was consistently dropping out of Internet signal, and I was asked several times to repeat my answers, told I couldn't be heard and they may need to end the assessment due to poor connection, often leaving me to feel as though my responses weren't heard correctly and weren't effectively understood. Because I showed no outward/physical 'stims' or repetitive movements this was seen as a lack of autisic traits, although the psychiatrist couldn't actually see my hands which were continually playing with fidget toys/objects. Because I have expirenced some trauma in my life this was also given as a reason that I don't have Autism, and considering the nurse from my 1st assessment said it's highly likely I do have autism I found the trauma comment very distressing.
The psychiatrist took no thought about my high masking, I felt rushed and pressured to answer questions due to poor connection and was highly anxious so masked the entire assessment! I also feel the assessment was unfairly misdiagnosed due to not speaking with my informant I find this neglectful when it is needed to look at all aspects of my life and difficulties.
I have been highly affected and negatively impacted by my autism assessment with CP and still struggle with this after 6 months(writing this in Feburary 2026). I did contact clinical partners after my feedback report to express my feelings, and initially had no response but ultimately they just came back and said they wouldn't offer a reassessment despite failing to complete the assessment by not speaking to my informant and the continued poor connection/disruption throughout the 2nd part of the assessment.
I wholeheartedly feel I have autism, from traits I have and have had since early childhood. And I can honestly say I have been signifcantly negatively affected by this process and still find myself fixated on the failings i feel were done and can't move past them unfortunately.
I had hoped in being able to better understand myself and have others better understand me, but it has exacerbated my feelings of being different and unable to be my true self as a result of this disappointing outcome and expirence.
Very organised and efficient. All appointments planned in advance with text reminders. Practitioners were friendly and put my daughter and I at ease during interviews, whilst being very thorough and professional. Excellent experience all round. Thank you!

Every phase of our assessment proceeded without a hitch, and we felt well-supported throughout. The team was professional, allowing us ample time to discuss the issues that directly impacted us. The diagnosis process was impressive, deserving of 5 stars. Everything was completed from home in a timely manner, with a thorough report provided. However, my experience with the ADHD titration left much to be desired. I paid extra for a psychiatrist consultation, but the first appointment was missed entirely. During the second call, the psychiatrist requested an ECG due to my family medical history, which I understood. Given the slow pace of the public health system, I opted to pay for an ECG at a private clinic and submitted it to the service within 24 hours. During this time, I stopped all other medications due to complications and needed to start ADHD treatment urgently. Unfortunately, I was informed that my ECG report was sent to the medical team for review and could take up to 30 working days, or longer due to staffing shortages. While such delays might be acceptable in a public system, they are unacceptable from a private provider. Therefore, I would recommend the service for diagnosis, as they were very helpful, but I hesitate to suggest them for titration due to the unacceptable delay in reviewing a straightforward ECG report.
