I have been buying Clipper organic tea bags for years. I tend to switch between the everyday and the breakfast tea depending on what's on offer but I think the breakfast tea is better. Whilst we know it's not possible to completely eliminate plastic from the process, I think they still offer the best, affordable, option for a plastic-free compostable tea bag. That is really important to me.
I'm puzzled by the extremely negative reviews of the breakfast and every day tea bags. I can't say I've noticed a massive dip in quality in recent years. However, the decaf tea bags are TRULY horrible. So I'm not buying those again. Hence the overall rating of three stars.
Improve the flavour of the Clipper decaf bags and I'll be happy to post a five star review. 🙂

Started buying Clipper teas recently in Denmark and I find them so much better than the other brands, even the fancier ones. The strawberry green tea has a great aroma, my other favourite is the mango tea. Surprised by other negative reviews, this tea is top in supermarket brands.
We’ve been buying the clipper everyday organic teabags for years and it was robust and full of flavour, however not any more. It’s now insipid and not worth the money. Such a shame as we used to love it. Noticed a change in the flavour over time but that’s usual I guess, however they’ve made it a weaker blend now. We’re going to change to a different brand.
Not had green tea before. I bought some cheap green tea from the supermarket. Had some taste. I thought you get what you pay for so bought the clipper which is 7 times the cost of the cheap supermarket stuff..... expected something really tasty... just like drinking just hot water, Dunked for over 4 minutes, Awful waste of money stuff.
Clipper used to be a byword for quality - now it means weak and insipid. To throw my Clipper Earl Grey tea bags in the bin or not..? There is no detectable Earl Grey aroma or flavour and the black tea itself is also bargain bin quality. Will avoid Clipper 'teas' from now on.
I’ve been drinking Clipper decaf for years. It used to be full of flavour and really satisfying. Recently, it’s become extremely weak, even using two bags per cup. Something has clearly changed in the blend or decaf process. Really disappointed, and I’m not alone - check the recent reviews. Please bring back the original quality.
