Purchased this sofa set and footstool for my daughter, and within just three months, she fell through the three-seater. Upon inspection, I found that both the three-seater and two-seater had supporting bars made of 25mm square wooden battens with only stapled fixings. To summarize, the company sent a complete replacement set, but it was identical in quality. I declined the replacement and requested a full refund of £850, which they refused. With no other choice, I reached out to my credit card provider, who advised me to obtain a professional report on the sofa set. I incurred a cost of £120 for this report, which confirmed that the supporting battens were inadequate for carrying weight and that the fixings should have been screwed instead of stapled. Ultimately, my credit card company refunded the full amount.
