Clover Health claims I owe them $600 in Premium payments dating back to August 2022. They never notified me that my Extra Help stopped paying my premiums at that time. I guess they figured it wasn't important enough to let me know at the time. Now they want payment in full. I will pay the amount in increments but I am concerned if I give them my bank information they will deduct the full amount in one payment. Heartless and sloppy.
I’m so disappointed I switched from my insurance to Clover healthTerrible customer service. Not enough agents answering the phones, waiting time was two to three hours and finally when I get some one in the line they don’t have the knowledge to answer questions. Please don’t sign with this company Too many promises but only promises , not service, only frustrations I went back to my old insurance.🙏
I am Outraged! I wish I never switched from my previous insurance company. Clover has stuck me with a massive amount of hospital bills that they denied paying. When I called to correct the situation, Clover claimed they had no bills in their system (how is that possible when the hospital bills/statements from the hospital showed: CLOVER DENIED PAYMENT. THEN THEY TOLD ME to call the hospital(s) and tell the hospitals to submit the bills as if they were never submitted! Clover swore they did not have any charges from any hospitals in the system. COME ON SERIOUSLY! I was outright LIED TO! I CANNOT UNDERSTAND THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE - they outsource their customer service people from some 3rd world countries it is IMPOSSIBLE to understand each other! To sum it up: DROP CLOVER - 1. they mislead and lie to you 2. Will not pay hospital bills. 3. Put you in the poor house with ruined credit from hospital bills. They leave it to the customer to try to fix the payment situation all the while your credit rating goes down the toilet. You can do better, with any other insurance company . Good luck. Peace
Very good customer support. I've had some of the best customer service experiences of any company I've ever dealt with. Their live healthy rewards are legit too. Real money for just taking care of yourself. I've had 2 other medicare advantage plans before switching to clover. Clover's co-pays are 1/3 of the other plans and all my doctor's are covered in my area. I did a lot of research this year before I picked a plan and clover was far and away the best value. The only downside I found was their maximum out-of-pocket per year is a bit higher than other plans. Like 15% higher. But this only comes into play really if you get admitted to the hospital or have a surgery.
The closest hospital system to me will no longer be part of Clover Health effective 8/5/23. The closest hospital that is part of Clover will now be over 5 miles away and in another state that I or an ambulance needs to cross over the Delaware river from PA to NJ to get to. Not acceptable in an emergency. This is a real issue and lessens the quality of this insurance plan greatly.
DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS HEALTH PLAN. I HAD CALL AND TRY TO EXPLAIN I NEEDED A NEW CARD. AFTER 6X CALLS WITH “EMPLOYEES” WHO DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH THEY STILL CANCELED MY AND SAID THEY SENT THEM TO INCORRECT ADDRESS. IT IS ONE MONTH AND STILL NO CARD. I DID ASK FOR A “MANAGER” SHE CLAIMED NOT tO HEAR ME . THIS IS INSANE!!! THIS HEALTH INSURANCE JUST DOES NOT CARE!! TRY UNITED HEALTH CARE THEY ARE EXCELLENT I HAD TO CHANGE DUE DECREASE IN MY FUNDS!! GOOD LUCK
