I would give 0 stars if I could. This company is a complete scam. They told me they signed me up for dental & vision insurance, I paid 143 for it & no one can find my policy. I've called 4 times over 2 days & they just keep giving me the run around, telling me i'm covered, but the card they send me is just a "wellness discount card" not actual insurance. I'll be contesting the payment with my bank if they don't give me a refund.

I am a psychiatrist and want to say this company is a COMPLETE SCAM. They are only "controlling costs" by not paying providers for services rendered. They make doctors and other providers jump through unnecessary hoops to file a simple claim, and then when their unreasonable demands are not met they send a Notification of Non-Payment well after the fact (conveniently for them) which can only be appealed for 65 days after which they consider it case closed. Whoever is running this insurance company is a criminal and should be behind bars for scamming seniors and their doctors. The sad reality is doctors such as myself will be forced to stop seeing these patients who will be left scrambling for care, since we cannot work for free (and I am sure Clover execs don't).
the worstI Ama psychotherapy provider who has been told absolute nonsense re a claim denial. and after talking with 4 agents they are unable to define what are the MEDICAL materials they say are needed to process the claim?.a reason I haven't heard in 35 years of practice. this is systemic and an obvious maybe they will just give up trying to collect payment or we can drag out payment as long as possible
Been with clover health about 10 years.........wonderful. 2 months ago they gave me dentaquest with $2000 yearly coverage. Dentist did a simple 2 minute molar removal. Dentist charged for 2 surgical procedures. I complained to clover and they found in favor for dentist who has now doubled his fees. I dont trust clover anymore looking for new company.
Clover Health fails their members at every turn. Their ai "clover assistant" does nothing but frustrate members until they give up. Their Dental is outsourced to DentaQuest whose website lists dentists who either don't take Clover (contrary to their claim in the details,) do not work at the group location listed, no longer work with that group (usually Coast Dental or Great Expressions) or the office location has closed. Member services is outsourced and are unable to help, as is DentaQuest. Asking for a manager completely terrifies the member services people and no manager can be found. My experience feels like I'm playing a dungeon game where there is no way to win
This Company absolutely sucks!It’s January 2nd and still no dental card. But ok I’ll wait for one . I ask for them to just give me the number so I can give dentist and I was told no. I dropped them 4 years ago for terrible service. My insurance felt area and thought give a try. I’m so dumb
I switched from traditional Medicare to Clover Health during open enrollment in 2025. A disaster. I have received nothing, no welcome kit or information kit or card. I learned someone at Clover had changed my address. It takes 10 days to get a return call from someone who is incompetent and ignorant and unable to solve any problems. Clover operates in only five states and appears to be a shoestring operation. I will switch out as soon as I can. I am very skeptical such a company will survive.
