Avoid CLOVER if you are a dotor or medical practice.

We are a medical office and working with this company to obtain reimbursement has been a NIGHTMARE. This company does anything possible not to pay. As a provider, I would avoid working with them.

THIS IS A COMPLAINT...EVEN WITH 5…

THIS IS A COMPLAINT...EVEN WITH 5 STARS. As a health care insurance company I rate this 5 stars. I do live in a major city with many hospitals and doctors. I can always find someone to take this insurance. Even though a major facility informed me last August(2024) they wouldn't be taking Clover, I fell broke my arm and went to their ED. They did referrals, X-rays and splinted. I only got a co-pay of $50. Referrals to specialists were $40. PT for 15wks x2 wkly $15ea. I have had this insurance for over 12 years. I am very happy with it. NOW, ON TO THE COMPLAINT...the OTC card isn't worth the plastic it's printed on. Walmart is the worst. You order from them and they say it's delivered...Guess what? it isn't. Call tell them and you get the "Your only option is to get a credit". This is not true, because I had the same experience one week prior and they reordered what they had in stock. Of course, they didn't have all items in stock. Okay it's March 23rd and I only have 8 days to spend $90. It's March 26 and I still have no credit. 5 days to spend. On the phone for 50 minutes. Walmart isn't speaking to me and the Clover Rep says this credit will not expire for 30 days after I receive it. We'll see. This is the second time in two weeks that this has happened. I think Walmart is ripping off the customers and Clover. Products are more expensive in the OTC catalogue than on the Walmart site. They also will say out of stock, but if you go to the Walmart site and are willing to spend your $$$ then they have it. I agree with everyone that complains about this, if you want to give us money let us buy what we want...food, tylenol when we need it, etc.Another Walmart scam is when you're shopping the OTC catalogue online, a little shopping cart appears and says if you don't see what you're looking for click here we'll direct to our shopping partners. Guess what? they direct you to Walmart and if you don't click on services, OTC and insurance they charge your credit card and not your Clover OTC card. CLOVER...Get rid olf Walmart and give us real benefits.

Don't believe these reviews here

Don't believe these reviews here. Clover Health is an amazing company designed to look out for those who have been historically marginalizeds i.e low income, minorities, etc. It's sad that the evil incumbants like Humana, United, Cigna et al need to resort to India call center bashing to try and stop the inevitable which is clover taking massive marketshare from their evil asses.

Customer Service Not Good

The customer service isn't good. No one reads previous notes.Called 10 times to let them know that my husband passed away. I keep receiving letters and information from my husband's insurance. Sent many correspondences back that was stating that he was deceased. Return to sender. The insurance company kept on sending more correspondences. When I called tonight I was told by a woman named Laura that I need to contact social security told her that I did that. The only one who has no idea what is going is his insurance company. Two months later after dealing with his passing

So far so good with Clover health…

So far so good with Clover health insurance. Very impressed with costumer service who reach out periodically to explain any questions you may have. Love the little extras they offer especially to ‘fixed income ‘ seniors. Would highly recommend

I wish I would have seen these reviews…

I wish I would have seen these reviews before I signed on. I had Humana, which I loved, but they informed me that my plan would no longer be offered in 2025 so I had to find another. I wanted the same plan benefits for the same cost as I could not afford to pay more and Humana did not offer this so after comparing companies for about 2 weeks I finally chose Clover. Their co-pays for services were close to Humana and seemed to be better than others. But now I am so scared after reading these reviews AND having to deal with customer service and my coverage hasn't even begun yet! I have had over a month's worth of terrible customer service just trying to get the darn ID cards and OTC card (which apparently I see here is useless anyway) and now I have 3 sets of welcome kits and 3 sets of the dental/eye cards, and finally one ID card arrived but no OTC card that they said in a letter I should have already received. NO ONE answers their messages on their website. I have sent several message and they are ignored. At first someone answered my messages on Facebook, but the last few messages there have also been ignored. This is the worst company ever and I wish I could have kept my Humana plan. This is my Medicare Advantage choice and I wish I could change companies right now instead of having to wait for an open enrollment period.

Healthy Benefits NOT for healthy people!

The HEALTHY BENEFITS PLUS.... OTC benefits keep increasing but the allowable items decrease. They MUST start allowing healthy groceries again and a wider range of everyday items!!! Unless I want a Water Flosser, this benefit goes to waste. Horrible for seniors on fixed incomes who want to STAY healthy rather than need the products in the catalog. Also, the Clover site will not allow me to sign in and does not send the email with a code that would override that. The Healthy Benefits scanner doesn't work in Walmart (the only place I have tried it) and putting the UPC in manually? I did that, it said the item was acceptable but when I checked out, it wouldn't take it. BOTTOM LINE: Clover needs to partner with a better company than Healthy Benefits and needs to allow healthy groceries.I had to put a date on this but it is not applicable to my review.

Denied my 87 year old aunt a pain shot in her back because she was unable to do physical therapy. She is paying for it out of pocket. Medicare advantage is a ripoff. Stay with regular medicare.
