Review Time
The colour I ordered did not match the Peel&Stick sample. Not even close. I am on a tight deadline and a resolution has still not been reached, despite 4 days of emails and photos. There has been no real apology and only on day 4 of emailing have they admitted that there has been a quality control error. They sent me a second replacement tin without checking the colour, which was also wrong. I really loved this brand before this experience, but I have lost all faith. I can see from other negative experiences, COAT do not excel at customer service or rectifying issues.

The service was extremely poor. We ordered two paints; one arrived quickly, but the other was lost multiple times. We were promised updates, but nothing came. When we contacted the company, they kept blaming the delivery service and took no responsibility. Eventually, they stopped responding altogether, causing us to delay our home renovations. Given the price, it's better to look elsewhere.
The product is good when it works, but the support and communication have been very poor. We ordered paint for our hallway and received several cans that varied in color and finish. After raising the issue in early October, it remains unresolved months later. Although the company acknowledged the problem, the follow-up has been lacking, leaving our hallway unfinished. While we received refunds and alternative offerings, the lack of responsibility taken has been disappointing.
This paint is remarkable. I purchased a maroon color for my fireplace wall and a smokey black for poorly painted tiles. The maroon looked classy, but the black seemed too plain. I tried a rich blue over the black and achieved a stunning effect. The depth of color is fantastic, and cleaning brushes is surprisingly easy.
The color matched the sample perfectly, making it easy to choose confidently. The paint quality is excellent, and the eco-friendly credentials are a bonus. The tonal suggestions are helpful, and the customer service is exceptional. Although it may be pricier than standard paints, I will continue to purchase this paint moving forward. What's not to appreciate?
The color is beautiful, but despite daily ventilation, I still can't enter the room without triggering a migraine five days post-application. It claims to be low VOC, but it's the strongest odor I've encountered. Other brands had minimal smell, but this one has left me feeling unwell. I would recommend avoiding this brand.
