Review Time
Well, I’ve only had had service for a few days. On cellular data it seems to have a problem being able to connect to some of my security features at home. Also, when using CarPlay, it’s not as good as my previous carrier was, it seems to fade in and out similar to being on the antenna, my reasoning for going to carplay and Bluetooth connections. But as I said, I’ve only had it a few days so let’s give it some time and see how things work out.
Very patient and friendly technical support staff. I’ve never been techno savvy and add age to that, it took some time for us to work through everything and the representative that helped me could not have been more helpful.
When I decided to move to consumer cellular it was easy! My Sim card arrived quickly. I ran in to a snag getting my phone up and running so I called the specific number for help. In less than 10 minutes we were done!
So far I am very satisfied!
I like my new phone. It came in less than a week, and was easy to set up. I do wish that when it took the data from my old phone to the new one, that it wouldn't miss some phone numbers. Over all though, a good experiance.
Your company has always been there for us when changing phones. Our phones get mailed right away with a lot of TLC. I have never experienced any problems with this cellular service throughout my time with this wonderful company. We always receive in advance the bill by email, giving us plenty of time to make sure our funds are available for you. My son and I are very grateful for your products and services. Keep the wonderful work going and the politeness towards us when we call for help. We are blessed indeed.
They were extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Answered all my questions without putting me on hold and I was up and running immediately. And my rate is one third of what I paid AT&T. I lost none of my contacts or apps. Couldn't be more delighted!
This was the single most terrible experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. I couldn’t get my phone turned on. I was on the phone with customer service for three days straight, one person told me to delete my SIM and then I had no cell phone service at all. Then I had to go into the store which luckily we do have one in our town now and they took about 45 minutes to try to figure things out. Never got my number ported over like I was supposed, never got the number that was then assigned to me the first time and now the service is horrible. Biggest mistake of my life is switching over. I guess old saying is true. You get what you pay for.
My person didn't do a very thorough job. I brought in a new phone and wanted her to switch me to CC for phone service. Still not sure what number to call for voicemail. I asked her to save my 3 voicemails I had saved from 2 years ago when I met my boyfriend and they were not saved. Heartbreaking. Then she got the idea I wanted to use CC on my old phone and of course no room on old phone for anything, why I wanted to switch phones and services. I think she was elsewhere mentally the whole time I needed her help. She went off to a break and then didn't come back until more than half hour later. I went to someone else and asked if they could get her. I was there for this process 3+ hours! She had such long fingernails that looked dirty she couldn't type. Ridiculous. She had no clue what she was doing but didn't say that, just proceeded to screw things up. I could have done better and I am not in the least tech savvy. I won't return, if I need more help I will go elsewhere.
So far I find the service to be as good as our previous service provider which was ATT. Our monthly cost is about $40 less.
The one thing I really am happy with is the people at the Springfield(IL) office. They were all so helpful in making our transition.
I'm very glad to have had the help of a service agent who spent an hour with me making the change from one service to another while I was handicapped with a hearing problem that required use of three different caption code services to read what he was saying.
But I now have full use of consumer Cellular, including SIM set up and password.
Slight problem and not finding reference to automatic payments monthly at my account page.
