I am writing this negative review because I am deeply disappointed with the attitude of customer service. In the month of June 2025 we purchased 9 cars from copart.de. The documents for one of the cars did not arrive due to the wrong phone number being provided to the courier company. We had to exchange emails for about 2 weeks to get them to send me the tracking number. From the check we made it was found that the documents were returned to them again due to "incomplete details". When we tried to demand that the documents be sent again, we received an answer that they were destroyed and the case was closed. These are official documents and there is no way they can be destroyed in such a short period of time. It's just that nobody cares if the commission is taken.
I don't even have a copy of the car's documents and no one wants to move their ass to help. I am writing all this so that fellow dealers know what they will face in the event of a problem. We have bought dozens of cars from Germany from another dealers and private individuals, but this is the first time we have encountered something like this. There have been mistakes, but the dealers has always helped to resolve them.
At the moment, we have a car with an approximate market price of 6500 euros without documents, which we cannot even give for a scrub. When we were bidding at the auctions, they called me several times a day. No one thought to call me when they received the documents back due to an error in the phone number and incomplete details.I hope what I wrote here will reach an official who is at a higher level and help us get our documents or at least a copy of them by email

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the ongoing issue of missing vehicle documents for a purchase made through Copart.For approximately four months, we have been attempting to obtain the required vehicle documentation. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, the issue remains unresolved. Our emails have largely gone unanswered, and when we are able to reach someone by phone, we are repeatedly informed that no assistance can be provided. This lack of clear communication and resolution is extremely concerning.As a direct result of this delay, we are experiencing financial losses and facing increasing dissatisfaction from our clients. The continued absence of these documents is significantly affecting our operations and reputation.We are extremely disappointed that a company of this scale and standing would allow such a matter to persist without resolution. Looking back a year, the car prices used to be lower and the auction taxes too. If you buy a car from here, taxes + transport + the repair, you'll make almost nothing. You guys are charging around 50% / 25%, and 12% of the bid value per car, which is too much. Also, you didn't increase the care amount, only the subscription people amount. I bought more than 20 cars from you, but I'm seriously thinking of going elsewhere. I have also had my share of unpleasant experiences. I bought a car listed as run and drive, but it was flooded. They couldn't even start the car in the yard for loading. Nobody cared about it. You didn't assume anything, just a simple message with nothing. I was sure you'll do it like that. Most of the time when I bought a car from Copart, what was described in the photos wasn't 100% accurate. That being said, Copart seems to be a waste of time and money, but of course, you don't care; somebody else will buy a new subscription
Bit surprising to be contacted by Copart as my car-insurance treated this partnership as secret but it turned out to be a very supportive service to deregister a broken car. Response to calls and emails are quick and to the point, likewise supplementary billings due to 3rd parties involved. Efficient online platform informs on status of the procedure but could be a bit more detailed for the final steps and accessible after completion for couple of days...

To this day, there has been no response whatsoever — not even a simple acknowledgment.When we later called to clarify the situation, the staff member on the phone stated that “nothing can be done,” and then abruptly ended the call. Such behavior is unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable — especially coming from a company that claims to operate on an international level.Because of Copart Germany’s internal negligence, we were forced to reschedule transport and pay double shipping costs, leading to unnecessary financial losses and wasted time.This is not how a reputable organization treats its clients. We expected professionalism, accountability, and basic customer respect — not silence and arrogance.Unless this issue is promptly addressed, we will have no choice but to share our full experience publicly across all professional channels — including all documentation and proof of the additional costs caused by Copart’s failure to act.We strongly advise anyone dealing with Copart Germany to be extremely cautious.
