Review Time
Cora health are not fit for purpose , patients in pain and desperate for help are fobbed off time after time.
I have been told ( on the telephone ) that I need to see the advanced practitioners but two months later and still haven’t heard anything, no plan, no appointment!
Absolutely clueless....Never even heard of my medical condition but think they can treat it....They don't listen to the patient and have absolutely no compassion....Also adding further waiting to the almost 2 years i have been begging for help....And now I have to wait for a call that I already know is pointless....You know the NHS is struggling when they are giving out contracts to these cowboys....
I would like to add to my review left on the 13th Feb l had a very good experience the medical staff were amazing but.... can the reception staff be given more training a smile cost nothing and the patient feels seen l watched the reception interact with patients, not one smile..
I have not been great for nearly a year and finally my Dr sent me for an x-ray nearly a year later.I was prescribed painkillers and I didn't want them. I got referred to Brentford MSK clinic. Because of the first consultation, I was then referred to the Senior consultant and he was and has been so thorough. MRI for my hip and also the spine and an ultrasound for my feet. Dr Davinder called me today and gave me the results. The people doing the scans, the consultant Dr Davinder and his team have been great. I would also like to thank Gemma and Catherine at the call centre in Newcastle.
Waste of my time and NHS MONEY. First appointment waited for 1 hour 50 minutes. The person who was supposed to see me didn't even turn up! Second time Deeply Disappointing. The person didn't seem to have any experience. Was very reluctant to look at my toes! didn't examine them!Suggested I should take pain killers even after I'd stated that I am stage 3 kidney with single kidney.Gave me 2 info print out which I'd already seen on line!My appointment was 11 Feb 2026 at 11:10.
Saw doctor on Dec 19th and was recommended for an MRI scan. Cora Health got in touch with me to say that an appointment had been made for Sat 14th Feb at 19:30. Seemed an odd time, but I accepted it. Then on Monday Feb 9th, some 7 weeks after this appointment had been arranged and 5 days before the appointment, someone from Cora called me at 20:30 to say that I had been booked in for a time when no-one was on the premises! She said they had been trying to get me a replacement appointment 'today' but it clearly hadn't worked. She said they would should be able to get me in 'in the next few days'. But when I phoned them, the first appointment they could offer was March 18th, over 4 weeks after the original appointment, making a wait time of over 12 weeks for a scan. How did they originally come to make an appointment on a Saturday night when 'no-one was on the premises'?
"I am writing this in absolute disbelief and physical agony. After 18 months of struggling with a serious condition—enduring nerve tests, MRIs, and constant pain—I finally had a confirmed appointment today (Feb 10th, 2026) for a steroid injection at Cora Health (Harrow Hub). I’ve been chasing this since November 2025.When I arrived, the clinician simply told me, 'We don’t do these injections here; you’ve been booked by mistake.'This isn't about the NHS being 'busy.' This is a deep-rooted management failure. Here is why this place—and the way it’s managed—is a disgrace:• Zero Training & Empathy: The staff have no grasp of the impact chronic pain has on a person’s life. They expect you to accept a 'sorry' and wait another 6 months for their blunder.• Wasting Taxpayer Money: Cora Health is a third-party provider. They are likely still getting paid for this 'appointment' despite their incompetence. It’s a drain on NHS resources with zero quality control.• Zero Accountability: When they mess up, they don't prioritise you. They expect you to go back to the start of the queue. It’s a 'computer says no' attitude that is destroying lives.• Mental Health Impact: For someone like me, who deals with mental health challenges alongside physical pain, this kind of treatment is the final straw. It forces people to give up on treatment and withdraw from society. The system is set up to protect the NHS and its private contractors, not the patients. If you are elderly, vulnerable, or in pain, be warned: you are just a number to them, and a mismanaged one at that. Absolute shambles."
If you value your health avoid Cora! Stalling system at best designed to meet targets but not for the good of the patient; waited several weeks for an appointment only to be given exercises that I’d already been given at the first virtual appointment, which hadn’t helped anyway…what a complete utter waste of time for the Cora physio and myself…dreadful outsourcing by the NHS. Going to now throw the Cora towel in, dig into my savings (again) and pay for private treatment…not sure what the point of paying into the system for over 40 years was for. Sad really…
I had an appointment in November that was cancelled at the last minute so I had to book another one. Couldn't get one until February and that was cancelled last minute too. I phoned to rearrrange and was told there was no itinerary which apparently means there are no appointments available. Just an absolute joke.
