I too had a perfect fit door installed via Bunnings. One year on the door where the glass joins is rotting. It was pre painted by the factory which their installer said was now not done to a high standard. Service follow up was terrible and now they are blaming a lack of maintenance (noting it was a pre painted, no painting required for). They produce poor quality and don’t care about their customers
Disgusting bulling, intimidating female manager. Was so surprised. I attend many events in this place over the years years ago and never saw this type of manage. How times change. Huge chip on 'her' shoulder. Very disappointed to go back to a place where they employ folk who behave such with aggression that you would see in a local rough bar. Reminded me of Bennets night club in later years.
Exterior door cracked at the front due to a knock when moving furniture. The rep claimed that we must have purposefully damaged the door as the door has a rating. The main door was fine just the very cheap and poor quality craft wood vinyl was broken. The tradie that repaired it at our expense said it was a very cheap door but this was not the case according to the builder. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, the rep did not even come out to look at the door.
We built through Eden Brae, upgraded the front doors and put in matching double doors upstairs on balcony. Upstairs doors weren't put together properly and water leaked straight through. Corinthian couldn't wriggle their way out of that one so after a year of chasing they were replaced. Downstairs doors leak like a sieve and Corinthian is trying to blame Eden Brae. The doors and door jam system (all Corinthian package) simply don't seal properly and we're now left with a beautiful home that leaks straight through the front door every time it rains.
DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS. I have installed may doors, one thing is needed and every manafacturer does it, a label on side of door that says "install lock side only" so I baught 10 doors from Bunnings and started to install them. They are glass doors with solid surround. Frosted glass. All well for three doors till I got to opposite side opening door. Could not turn it around as the glass is gloss one side opaque the other side and with 5 doors in hall would have looked wrong so I flipped upside down as this would be only way to install lock side on right side, so I hung and mounted lock, then installed next door only to find that the first door is different the top and bottom panels were different heights, rang corintian doors and said about the label and they told me no it's a standard label they have and if I called they would have told me you can install lock on either side and it was my mistake so they won't do anything about it. I explained that I install "as per manafacture instructions" and if it could be install both side then it should have said that. Well like talking to brick wall, they said they won't do anything and really sounded like they didn't care. I will never buy their products anymore and will do my all to tell everyone else as well, especially as they won't stand behind their product and call their customers "amatures" as should get professionals if I can't do it myself. Well I can have in past done many and as far as I know you don't need to be a professional to hang a door, you only need proper manafacture instructions.
So called "exterior" doors delaminated on the outside after only 2 months. Doors were sealed on delivery. Made a claim on the warranty. The Corinthian representative lied to my builder and claimed that the doors had not been sealed and that they had been damaged by water. There had been no rain. The doors were clearly not fit for purpose, the representative was not honest and the warranty is worthless.
We bought a very expensive Corinthian pivot door and its purpose built frame for our new house. The door did not seal properly from day one, allowing cold air, dust, and smoke (from bush fires) into the house whenever the wind blew. Got into contact with their local rep to try and get it fixed, and for four months we were very patient waiting for the matter to be resolved. In the meantime, we sealed the edges of the door with material that we had at home, and did not use the front door for four months. It took threatening legal action and direct contact with their General Manager to get them to come and door a half baked repair job. The door is still not sealing properly, and I am left trying to find a tradesman to repair their faulty and expensive product. Being told that "that is the way pivot doors are" is not acceptable. Poor quality items, poor customer care, and disregard for their reputation. I have a house full of Corinthian doors from the build unfortunately. Do not use them, I will never purchase another Corinthian product.
