Review Time
Hibu does not deliver what they promise. Their contract effectively states they will "try" to perform some tasks, but they are under no obligation to accomplish what you are paying them for. I foolishly didn't read the contract before signing and paying for it, and found this little fact out after I called and asked why, after 9 months, nothing has been accomplished.It seems someone on their end pushed a couple buttons, gave up and said they "tried", and now i'm contractually stuck with the bill because they put in the most minimal effort into the task.Their sales person didn't even give grand promises, but very simple realistic promises on what would be done. And yet they couldn't even do a simple task like: create a listing for my company on a search service, with whom they are supposedly "partnered with". I don't even ask to be on the first page, let alone the top result, I just want some sort of listing to be there at all. Save yourself some time, do yourself what they promise in less time than it takes to listen to their spiel.
I’ll be honest, we’ve done some advertising like this with another media outlet before. It took months to get the ad created and corrected…and then the analytics they gave us didn’t jive with the analytics we were getting from our website. We were a little hesitant to try this with Hibu, but Kurt and Terri have made this a breeze! The contract was taken care of over the phone and then the ad was created by the digital media specialist over the phone after a few quick questions. They quickly made additional changes for us throughout the day and everything was finalized and the ads were live within an 8 hours day!
I am so happy that Tim came into the office. I had the plan of doing business with another company and he presented me with a plan and it was great. The website just went live and I will say that it looks great. Tim has been wonderful and even Stacey Rubel was such as great help. We are extremely happy with the results and the service! Thank you!
So disappointed with HIBU. We met with 2 HIBU reps and they really convinced us of HIBU’s connection with google and how they would improve our looks online. The rep said, “Call me anytime. We like to take care of things so if you are frustrated call me.” Should I share his name? Well guess what. We got emails from the person who was to develop our online ads and when I would suggest changes....she never changed any Hong nor did she even respond to my suggestions. When we found the would be a change in our office, I called our rep Scott and he said we could cancel our contract after 2 months. Guess what? It’s 3 months and we’re still being billed. We called the rep and he NEVER would answer...always went to voice mail and never called back. We even had our credit card company call to dispute the payment and could not get any resolution. DONT GO WITH HIBU.
I have been told that HIBU has a 100% refund and cancellation at anytime. But now when I’m trying to cancel my account after the first month they are telling me that I can’t and need to wait 6 months while getting charged per month. Really frustrated!
Lack of response. Lack of ROI. Not sure of any positives for the $2300 per month spend. You can tell the quality of a company when you try to discuss what changes to make to at least break even on an investment and the rep/internal people will not call back or email back. If anyone in management is looking to make this a better experience after 9 months I’d love to hear from HIBU.
If I could give less than one star I would. This company is full of bologna. I would stay clear from working with this company. They make false promises and tie you into a contract that is fraudulent. They say they are going to create ads, another lie. I had to create the ads and supply the photos. This place is nonsense.
