I strongly advice anyone who considers signing up to this service to look for a different service - this service is close to a scam.
I provide a detailed description for the reasons below:
We had signed up to national cover, local cover and home cover policy.
According to the national policy in case that the car cannot be temporarily repaired where broken down, the insured vehicle will be recovered to a local garage. If the vehicle is unable to be repaired on the same day, the insured vehicle will be recovered to their home address or a chosen location.
However, as admitted by the customer service, the authorizing agent will never agree to the recovery of the vehicle to the home address or chosen location. They always try to push the customer to accept a reimbursed public transport, overnight accomcodation.
The customer is completly misled when expecting that the vehicle will be brought to their home address when further away from their home address than 25 miles.
In our case, we were only towed to a closed garage in the middle of the night within a 25 mile radius from our break down place. Hotels nearby were fully booked so we could only book a taxi (£120) for a 50 mile journey home (obviously no public transport or garage service in the middle of the night). We haven't yet received a £40 refund of the taxi costs - a real joke.
Again, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE AT ALL COSTS IF YOU EXPECT A RELIABLE SERVICETO BRING YOUR BROKEN DOWN CAR HOME WHEN FURTHER AWAY FROM HOME.
All the information provided here is untrue from the company. The reviews seem fabricated and manipulated. I recommend checking other review platforms. This service appears to be a scam. They are unresponsive when you encounter an issue, and if they do respond, they just impose charges for assistance. They are taking advantage of customers. Don't trust the claims made here.
I will not be using this service again. This is the second instance they did not come to help, leaving my disabled spouse and 5-month-old baby in -3°C winter conditions. They claimed their policy does not cover a malfunctioning key fob and a dead battery, stranding us in a meet and greet area at 11:30 PM.
