We have lived in a property managed by Michael Richards for over 15 years, and recently sold the flat to move out of London. Caroline and Lara answered the many questions from the buyers promptly and patiently, and were very approachable when we had additional queries, helping us to complete the sale successfully.
I addressed a complex query to customer-support person Lara and he was extremely courteous, logical and thorough in his response. He took the time to understand my query, then went away to investigate it. He came back very quickly with an extraordinarily useful response. I am also grateful that I had no trouble getting through to him; he picked up the phone immediately. Thanks, Lara!
Caroline Stirling is a superb manager of the building. Exceptionally efficient, always gets back to you quickly and basically very warm and very good-natured. Really cares about getting residents' problems solved. Generally constructively proactive. Has transformed the block, which has been very poorly managed in the past.

I've been dealing with Michael Richards Maintenance Company for 5 years now. When I bought my flat, I immediately reported a mould problem — I have a young son with breathing issues, and this was urgent.They ignored me completely. Email after email, no one cared. Nothing was done. We ended up spending thousands of pounds to fix it ourselves — even though we already pay them a lot of money every year.To get anything fixed, you have to chase them nonstop. And when they finally send someone, it takes months — and the job is terrible. Then they send you the bill.But when it comes to getting paid, they don’t waste a second. They’re suddenly right in your face.Like many other people here, we pay nearly £2,000 a year and get nothing in return. If you dare to question them, they threaten you with a tribunal.It feels like they think they’re above the law.We’re seriously thinking of selling and moving just to get away from this company. They keep increasing prices, but their service is rubbish, with no improvements.If you’re buying or moving into a place managed by Michael Richards, please don’t. You’ll end up paying a lot for nothing.
The company, and especially Lorraine Prince, has been very helpful. Whenever we have issues that require attention, whether it is a leak or the lift that does not work properly, she does not hesitate to help and find the solution to the problem. She is considerate, interested in helping and very efficient.
