I can’t imagine using anyone else now- why would I ask a ‘large carpet firm’ to cost me loads when I can call a fitter and have it simply fitted afterwards - very happy customer

Found a carpet that I liked which was advertised at £9 per m2, however it was too big and I only required 1/2 the length on the roll - 5m instead of 11m. When I contacted sales for a smaller piece ( it would have left a decent amount for further resale) the cost per m2 went up and not by a small amount!! Stupidly I assumed approx half the amount of carpet = approx half advertised price of full roll.....WRONG!!!!Never heard of any reputable carpet retailer where the unit cost of the carpet fluctuates according to how much you buy and you only get a decent price if you buy the whole roll?!? So would the unit price fall if I wanted double the quantity??... betting not. Bizarre and opaque sales and advertising - can't trust prices. Steer clearFeedback regarding ‘reply’It would have been more honest if you put your lengthy and sarcastic justification on your website as a clear indication of your pricing so that all potential customers are aware. Why not add it as a FAQ page in its entirety? And as for 1 star reviews…these are provided when deserved. You may have noted that I have also left 5 star reviews when I felt this was merited. PS Rather sad and petty that you felt the need to point that out as a means of attempting to discredit a genuine review. Bravo!
Bought four rolls of carpet from Cube Carpets and whilst the quality isn't 100% the customer service exceeds that.If you buy discounted carpets you should expect minor faults- but these are clearly labeledVery reasonable company and nice people
We have bought from Cube Carpets/Designer Carpet Outlet before. Once again we are thrilled with our new carpets. We were in Bradford a few weeks ago and visited the warehouse where the guys were very helpful showing us some different carpets, but we ended up choosing others. The office have been great in making sure our carpets were delivered within the timeframe that suited us. Our luxurious bedroom carpets look fabulous, with minor imperfections that no one else would notice unless you mentioned them, and we have carpets way outside our budget for an affordable price. What’s not to like? Thank you once again.
I can happily recommend Designer Carpet Outlet (aka Cube Carpets). Having placed my order, the carpet was dispatched quickly. Unfortunately, the carpet was damaged by the delivery company. From there I can only commend the team in the office. Having flagged the issue, they made every attempt to rectify the situation to our satisfaction. This issue aside, the carpet is of excellent quality and exactly as described. I would be happy to order a carpet from them again in the future.
