I bought a 45L slim pedal bin from Simplehuman last year for our new kitchen. It looks great but was not cheap, so I expected it to hold up well over time.

Unfortunately, the metal lid was left with a noticeable dent after a dining fork was accidentally dropped onto it. The damage is cosmetic, but very noticeable. I was genuinely surprised it happened so easily to be honest. Our previous Simplehuman slim bin, which we owned for over 10 years, never suffered anything like this and felt much more robust.

What has been most disappointing is the lack of repair options. I fully accept that the damage was accidental and my responsibility, and I would have been perfectly happy to pay for a replacement lid. However, Simplehuman informed me that they do not sell replacement lids for this model. As a result, the only option offered was a small discount off buying a whole new bin, but that's not really feasible, especially when the rest of the bin is still in perfect working order.

I own several other Simplehuman products, including soap dispensers, a dish rack, and toilet brushes, but this experience has left me having second thoughts about buying Simplehuman products in future.

Simplehuman, my honest perception and experience of this Brand is nothing less than fantastic there products are innovative and of high quality definitely worth paying extra for and if you do have an issue there customer service is second to none.
I bought my wife a sensor mirror two years ago which she absolutely loves and recently we had an issue with the light around the perimeter of the mirror this item came with a five year warranty so I contacted their customer services department who were very helpful and polite they helped me through the warranty procedure and their support throughout was nothing less than exemplary
Within two days I had an email to advise they were replacing the mirror with a brand new one and the remaining three years warranty would remain on the new mirror I would thoroughly recommend this company.

Disappointing Experience with Order Delivery

I created an account and placed an order, only to realize it was headed to an old address that I can no longer access. The support team assured me they would update the address and ensure delivery to the correct location, but they did not follow through. I then received a notification stating that my order was delivered, but it went to the wrong address. Despite numerous calls and emails, along with written and verbal promises to resolve the issue, I still have not received my order and I am at a financial loss. I cannot recommend this service. They make promises but fail to deliver on solutions when problems arise.

Lack of repair service

The customer service was very prompt in their response. However, the company does not provide repairs for a broken mirror stand. The mirror is now unusable, and it's unacceptable that no repair options are available for such a costly item. This approach is not sustainable for high-priced products, and I will not be buying from this company again.
