When I need to use it, it doesn't allow me to, even if I have money on it. When I don't have money on it, it charges and then they send you to a debt collector, because you weren't paying attention that a card does what it wants with your own money. Stay away, useless.

Easy to use, summary of spend in £ daily so does the currency exchange for you.
I think there's a fee free limit so I took cash in addition to currensea card on trip to New Zealand from UK.
No issues anywhere with use for spend in shops, restaurants and online.
I definitely recommend!

I've used Currensea not only in the EU but also Canada, South Korea, Pakistan and Malaysia. Just booked flights to Almaty Kazakhstan along with bus tickets between Almaty and Bishkek Kyrgyzstan. All done seamlessly. Love the way the app instantly comes up with the transaction in sterling and the money saved - to date, I've saved over £200 in exchange fees. Superb card and app - looking forward to using it in Japan in July 26. Highly recommend.

I'm disappointed with the fact they've frozen my card.. when i asked why they said i had pending transactions.
I've reviewed my account can't see any pending transactions and there is sufficient money in the account if there are any!!
I've messaged them twice and still not had a reply

Issues with Fraud Reporting and Receipt

Attempted to report fraudulent activity on my card because the vendor was processing a payment without providing a valid receipt. I was informed that it had been submitted and would be processed. Considering opening a different account as the card seems more reliable.

I don't travel internationally very often, but my card has helped me save a significant amount of money. The contrast in fees when using my card compared to my debit card is striking. I appreciate how the app instantly alerts me to my expenses in GBP.
