Where do I start! Custom Garden Rooms are an absolute credit to their industry.Having approached a few other garden pod companies, I knew after my first conversation with Andy that CGR were the company to go with.Andy at CGR were the only company that suggested a different angle for my pod that made perfect sense for our garden space. Andy consistently kept in communication with us up until to the date of our build, (which only took 3 days!) answering all and any of my questions promptly and always with the highest level of professionalism.The CGR team, (special mention to Joe!) were absolutely amazing from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble for them despite working hard in 32 degree London heat!Custom Garden Rooms are super competitive, their work is second to none and the attention to detail they give to every element from design to end build is outstanding.CGR it was a pleasure! I wanted an office that was functional, energy efficient, was built from materials that would stand the test of time, and would look amazing. I had assumed that I wouldn’t get everything I wanted but then I came across Andy and Jason from Custom Garden Rooms and their new invention, The Garden Pod. This ticked all my boxes so I made contact and placed my order.I’m an engineer by trade so I’m all about the detail, the finite detail! Andy was very accommodating and explained the whole process to me which put me at ease. I wanted to improve the longevity of the pod so I asked Andy what they could do and they proposed using a composite decking and cladding, and although this was more cost it was something I was willing to go for. I also wanted to soften the inside of the pod so Andy proposed an acoustic wall panel which would make the pod look very posh indeed. Choosing samples was a doddle, Andy did all the hard work for me by providing samples of materials. All my choices had been made, the Pod was in production, now all I had to do is wait until installation date.On the day of installation, and more specifically the ground screw installation, we hit a snag. The ground was too hard with bedrock less than 1 metre down. This wasn’t a problem though, as Jason was prepared for this eventuality and quickly organised for an alternative foundation option, which was the use of precast concrete blocks. To prevent any delays to the pod build Jason and his team came on a Sunday to lay the concrete block foundations and then returned the following day to start the build. Now this was quite a big build, it wasn’t just the pod but 35m2 of decking to boot. Jason and his team had 5 days to complete everything.I was dubious at first, with so much to do in such little time, would they be able to deliver? My doubts soon faded though, Jason’s team were outstanding, and being an engineer and working in the Civil Engineering industry it takes a lot to impress me, and these guys did just that. They were courteous, clean and tidy, polite, very very hardworking and worked such long hours. Jason’s team smashed it out the park and I was so grateful.The Pod Andy and Jason have built for me has exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re ever contemplating a Garden Pod then I couldn’t recommend Andy and Jason from Custom Garden Rooms highly enough. It’s a shame that I have to rate them 5 out of 5 as in my view they deserve 10 out of 5!!!!
We are so pleased with our garden room. The service was excellent from start to finish. Andy addressed all of our queries in advance and the installation was so quick and efficient, and the guys were so polite, hardworking and very tidy. We also had an excellent experience with the electrician that Andy arranged for us (Olly from OMJ Electrical based in south London). He was really friendly, on time and completed the job very quickly.The room itself looks great and feels like a very high quality structure. We are very excited to start using it.
Not just a standard pod! Initially I was looking at building a bespoke build from oak and cedar wood. Whilst searching for ideas I came across Custom garden rooms. The finish I was after involved blending in existing curved millboard decking a separate cupboard inside and cedar finish outside to match the house. From start to finish the project was completed efficiently and professionally. The project involved a 6 x 3 office corner pod. These pods are designed and premanufactured to make the install process quick and cost effective. Mike in sales and Andy sorting designs and final quotes were really impressive with their willingness to help, ideas to make it work and understanding of what I had in mind. With Acoustic panels along the main wall including led lighting, shelving, laminate flooring and internal blinds these pods compete with anything bespoke built at a fraction of the cost. All built within a couple of weeks too!! Very pleased with it! Big thank you to Jason for quality of install and the rest of the team for there constant efforts. I was looking for some outside office space, Custom Garden Rooms came recommended to me and I can 100% see why. From start to finish Andy and the team explained the process and were punctual, reliable and tidy with each part of installation. The space I had to fit was a tight squeeze but this was no issue and they tweeked a few things to make it work in the space given. I am thoroughly pleased with the end result, it was put together with great workmanship and it looks classy and sleek. I really cannot recommend Andy and the team enough.

We just had our Custom Garden Rooms pod installed in our Victorian terrace garden. I cannot recommend the team enough, from the first contact until the install was complete all of the team have been amazing, helpful and have solved every query we have had - from how to get the pod through the house, to ensuring the furniture we wanted for our home gym would fit. I cannot recommend the team enough, each and every person we have had contact with have been professional, friendly and generally good humans! Thank you again.
