THE WORST COMPANY EVER. Please do not patronise in their business. They set a trap for you if you want to leave. I registered on a 6month plan and due to financial restrictions I called them immediately less than a week to cancel. I told them I will keep what I have paid for already due to avoid stress of packaging and posting as the box is very heavy but they should cancel any future subscription . I was told if I do that, then I have to pay for the discount I was given as it came with the subscription. I was disappointed and told them I will return their food. I couldn’t lift the box as it was too heavy and I have a back injury and I couldn’t get any pick up home delivery to take it asap as it’s food so I called diet chef so many times, it keeps going straight to voicemail. I sent several emails to let them know of my situation. I told them I will pay the £100 so they can cancel their subscription as I am not interested anymore. When they finally replied one of my emails, they attempted to take money out of my account without my permission and without my knowledge and the payment failed because the account number on their system was Klarna. I called back severally and straight to voicemail, no response from my emails. I left my phone number and message more then 5times. I had a missed call from them as I was asleep from a night shift. I called them back asap severally and it kept going to voicemail. Left so many messages asking for a direct line so I can call and make payment so subscription can be cancelled. I sent emails, I have attempted calls this morning within the last 30minutes but it goes straight to voicemail. Ever since I called to cancel my subscription, my calls goes straight to voicemail and I know it’s a trap to get this month delivery to me when I have specifically told them, I can’t afford it so I want my subscription cancelled. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with. The worse customer service. They deliberately frustrate you when you want your plan cancelled but they are they same company that claims you can cancel anytime. Do not patronise in their business . Their food is disgusting. I still have all of them in my fridge and refrigerator.

I had a slight problem with a delivery. When I emailed Diet Chef, Jenny was so helpful and sorted out the problem immediately, arranging for a further delivery the very next day. Diet Chef and their Staff are very professional and helpful and I'm happy to recommend them.
I have been a Dietchef customer for many years and if you stick to the food you absolutely lose weight. But I’m not writing about the products, I’m writing this review about the fantastic service I received recently from Jenny. Super fast response to my request and so friendly and professional. Nothing was too much bother! Great job Jenny from Customer Services.
I am two weeks into my one month weight-loss plan with Diet Chef. I have lost 1lb every two days, so I'm on track to lose a stone in a month. I never thought I'd ever achieve this!The diet is very easy to follow because the meals are tasty and filling. I love the fact that the whole day's meals (including one small snack) consist of 800 calories and I can add up to 400 extra calories per day in the form of dairy, fruit, veg and nuts. This really suits me. My only gripes would be: Please prompt customers before check-out to make sure they only want the default set of meals. I completely forgot to customise my meals and ended checking out with the default which included a few meals I would not have chosen myself. I realised my mistake immediately so went back in and customised my plan and 'saved' but the order had obviously already been sent to the warehouse and the default selection arrived. I like 95% of the food, but there are some meals I'd swap next time.Please also provide a check-box for customers to select or de-select gluten-free items because unless you really have to eat it you definitely don't want gluten-free porridge in the selection if you can help it!!A referral discount for friends would be welcome.Special mention to Jenny for great customer service by email.
