We had a big leak coming from the ceiling and needed it fixed urgently. It was in a very difficult place, so we needed professionals to find and repair the leak properly. They came, located the problem quickly, and fixed it. I’m so pleased I found the right people. I’ve had bad experiences with plumbers in the past, but these were very experienced and professional. I would definitely recommend them.
Do not trust this plumber he is a scam artist he attended a call out for a broken-down boiler and diagnosed a faulty pump and valve and quoted £1600 for repair and requested a 50% upfront payment. This was paid by card via his phone which had been adapted to be used as a card payment device. The parts were acquired and the job completed all satisfactory upon leaving he requested the balance of the 50% payment which was paid once again via a card using his phone then left. After he left I became a little suspicious due to the fact that the plumber entered the bank details and the sum on the phone then requested me whilst still holding his phone to input my pin number the phone was held in such a way so that the sum being authorised could not be seen by me. I phone the bank to check the transaction amounts and was horrified when they informed him that the initial transaction was for £980 and second transaction was for £1790 making a total of £2770 for approximately 4 hours work and £520 of materials if you deduct the materials element it leaves a whopping sum of £2250 for 4 hours labour £562.50 per hour.I emailed the plumber to challenge the charges and suggested that he might have forgotten the initial £980 payment and his response/justification for such a high cost was to explain that he had saved me £8000 by repairing his boiler so effectively deserved a higher payment and then took it without any authority.
