I took a my Dodge Ram for a tire replacement on January 24, 2026 at 9:05 am as mine was flat. About

I took a my Dodge Ram for a tire replacement on January 24, 2026 at 9:05 am as mine was flat. About 30 min later I got my car back and drove to work since I had a shift mid day. When I got off work around 6 pm I notice that my replaced tire was flat and coming out of the rim. I could not drive back home, it was so cold since we were under a severa storm advisory and of course Discount tire was closed.
How can a freshly replaced tire come of the rim. SIMPLE THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO THEIR JOB AND THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE NOT QUALIFY. I had bit way to get home that night and the next day and now my car is sitting on a parking lot at work and it’s costing me so much money. I WANT TO SUE THEM. DO NOT GET YOUR TIRES FROM THEM.

Using a bead sealer is advisable for safety

While you might occasionally find a tire that holds air without a bead sealer, relying on this is not the best practice and can compromise both safety and performance. A sealant is essential for the system to function properly. It helps keep the tire securely in place on the rim during braking and cornering, enhancing tire integrity and reducing the risk of dangerous tire failures.

Advisable to use a bead sealer for safety

While it's possible for a tire to hold air without a bead sealer, this isn't the most reliable approach and can jeopardize safety and performance. A sealant is crucial for the system to function correctly. It ensures the tire remains stable on the rim during braking and cornering, thereby maintaining tire integrity and minimizing the risk of hazardous tire failures.

Excellent Service at Lexington Location

The Lexington, SC location offers outstanding customer service. The staff at the front desk and the technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. They provided the best tire prices for quality options, not just low-budget tires. I highly recommend this location.

Felt pressured into unnecessary purchases

I felt pressured into buying two new tires I didn’t need. After taking my car in for a simple repair due to a nail, they inspected all tires and claimed it was not an issue. After waiting for over an hour, I was told my tire was too damaged to fix and they didn’t have my tire in stock. They suggested a larger tire, but insisted I had to buy two to balance them. My tires were less than a year old, and I refused to replace them unnecessarily. When I asked to put my spare on, I was told it might be too old for my car. Eventually, they inspected it, and it was fine. The next day, I went to a different shop where they plugged my tire without any issues. This place seems to pressure customers into unnecessary purchases.

Unexpected costs and poor service

I ended up spending $208.00 for a tire rotation and balance. During my appointment, the manager informed me that one lug nut was cross-threaded but they could remove it. If that was the case, it must have happened during my last visit since they are the only ones who handle my tires. Instead of helping, they passed the responsibility. They couldn’t fix it and handed me the broken nut. I later went to another shop where I received great service and had the issue resolved for $208.00.

Exceptional Assistance During Our Trip

While on a holiday road trip, we faced a STEM valve issue with our trailer. The teams at a couple of locations provided outstanding support—quick, professional, and genuinely caring. They ensured everything was handled properly before we continued our journey. Feeling supported during long travels, especially during the holidays, is invaluable. Thanks to their excellent service, we were able to proceed with confidence. This experience reinforces why this service is trusted nationwide. Huge thanks to both teams!

Long wait times experienced

As a customer for over 10 years, I was disappointed with the service during my recent visit. I arrived for a tire rotation at a specific location and waited for over an hour without my car being touched, while they prioritized drive-ups. After 1.5 hours, my car still hadn’t been serviced. This is unreasonable and reflects poorly on customer service. What has happened to valuing customer loyalty?

Misleading wait time estimates

I visited a location and was told my service would take about 1 to 1.5 hours. After waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes, I was informed it would take another 30 minutes. Eventually, my car was serviced after over 3 hours. It seems the staff is trained to mislead customers about wait times. I dislike being misled and would advise others to expect longer wait times than stated.

Disappointed with employee service

I was let down by an employee at a specific location. I ordered a spare tire that was supposed to include a rim, but when I arrived, the rim was missing. When I inquired, the employee treated me as if I were at fault for misunderstanding. Even after showing the receipt, he was unhelpful and seemed annoyed when I asked for a refund. If you visit this location, I would recommend avoiding this employee.
