A budget client had an accident with my property in October and they do not care! They originally told the customer there was no insurance for my damage, despite her paying for $0 excess , and Third Party cover is always covered!
Now there is no-one to assist and no complaints department. Judging by my experience it should be their biggest Department. If you rent through them beware, as they will need to keep your bond for months as they do not assist in the case of an accident.

This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. My travel plans changed, and when I requested to pick up the car three days later—same car and drop-off—I was told they needed to create a new offer, which was twice the price. I explained nothing was changing, yet they insisted on this new rate. I decided to cancel my booking and go with a competitor, who provided excellent service. Now, over a month later, I'm still waiting for my refund. They keep telling me it's under review, despite an email promising my refund within two weeks. It's utterly unacceptable, and I wouldn't recommend them at all.
Avoid this company. We paid an extra $240 bond for our vehicle, and they have yet to refund it. They ignore our emails, and their customer service on live chat is unhelpful, just directing us to call a number we can't reach. Additionally, the car rental representative was 40 minutes late delivering our vehicle! This company is completely useless.
1. We were unaware that our reservation was for a pickup location far from the airport. When we arrived, the agent offered no assistance in getting a car from there, forcing us to take a taxi. 2. The other pickup site had great agents who were helpful. 3. A day before our departure, I experienced a medical emergency and needed my wife to drive to a different city to reach me. The agent refused to extend our rental for a few days, making her return the car prematurely without any discount, forcing her to rent a new, more expensive vehicle elsewhere. This isn't an isolated incident; it's a pattern of terrible service. It's truly unacceptable for an international company.
I ordered an intermediate SUV months in advance for my holiday. At pickup, they provided a much smaller 1.6L front-wheel-drive car, claiming it was all they had. I had no choice but to accept it, but it was inadequate for my needs. Budget is now claiming it meets my order, which is laughable. I will never trust or use this company again. Be warned!
I rented a vehicle through a third-party site, unaware it was linked to this company. A charge of $127.40 was taken from my card before I even picked up the car, with no explanation. When I tried to change my pickup time, I learned about a hefty insurance excess and ended up purchasing additional coverage, which nearly doubled my rental cost. I still have no idea what the $127.40 charge was for, and their customer support is unreachable. This has been a frustrating experience.
