While I did receive the email, it didn't mention the account closure; instead, it highlighted the benefits of using my new card. With a credit score over 800, I have always been truthful on my applications, so I'm puzzled as to why they couldn't reach out to verify the necessary details. As I said in the title: a frustrating experience.
