Never received product that was purchased. Company keeps saying their emails must have gone to my spam folders and then stopped responding completely. Kept promising additional products for the delay and still no product received. Now that customer service stopped responding to email, I can’t even get a refund.
They take Canadian taxes when ordering and then don’t declare they do when shipping on the declaration. It has happened repeatedly and they don’t learn! Hence in the end you have to pay the taxes twice and fees on top once customs from CP in Canada gets it. Customs Canada insists on their money and that Dose of Colors is not authorized to charge taxes and hence I should request my taxes back from Dose. Therefore I requested Dose to refund it . Hence upon telling this to Dose Customer Service they basically kept insisting they need to collect the taxes and refused to return it even though I paid it again here! Eventually totally not responding. Rude and incompetent CS named Axel who does not understand it’s their fault in reality! Seriously awful CS experience. I was not even rude just explaining they should own their mistake and they don’t deserve to keep that money since I paid it again. Ridiculously idiotic and unprofessional attitude! A first. All other companies who screwed up this declaration stuff were easygoing and realized it’s their fault. This level of audacity and incompetence is new to me. Never buying there again!
Worst assistance ever. They have unique lipstick's shades but I'm from Italy and I can't wait over a month for a package! It has been MORE than 3 weeks and I don't know where's my order. Nobody's answering me.. so I'll not buy from Dose of Colors anymore and I'm very disappointed because I love their liquid lipsticks, but NO. And they also charge duties on u. Unacceptable.
I’ve made a purchase recently and was charged Canadian taxes when I checked out. I originally thought that this is a good idea because this way I won’t have to pay taxes when it reach Canada. However, when the package arrives in Canada I was charged taxes again plus a service fee from CBSA. This is then I realize that Dose of Colors has not submitted the taxes that I have paid them. When I contacted customer service about the issue, the CS was trying to mislead me thinking that they charged me taxes, but I still have to pay duties for the package. When I told them that CBSA is charging me taxes then they said they need to pass it onto the international manager. I haven’t heard from them since. I can’t believe that a big makeup company is now trying to scam customer money. They need to stop collecting taxes from customers when they don’t plan to pay taxes. This is call tax fraud!
