Had a horrible experience Seeking help for my six-year-old daughter who had symptoms that seemed like a UTI. Picked Dr Robert Chandler because she was screaming every time she went to the bathroom and had blood in her urine and he had the first available appointment. Our call must’ve lasted 30 seconds. He did not show any interest in speaking with her or answering any of my questions. He seemed like he just wanted to get us off the phone. He called in a lab and told me he would follow up after the results were in and then left the call. I followed up the day after and the following day to see if we knew anything and his response to the chat bot was “ as I told her, I will respond when there are results. If she isn’t that much pain, she can go to urgent care or the ER “. We were given no understanding of what the test was or how long it would take.
About a week later we get a note in the app,saying it’s not a UTI. We’re done here. Zero follow up, zero help in understanding what other thing this could be so we could at least be doing low intervention treatment while waiting for results . zero interest in helping a six-year-old child mitigate painful symptoms. It was very clear he was not interested in helping anyone or caring about a human in pain but just checking off a box so he could get paid. They also said per their policy We are not eligible for a refund because we received a service. I do not consider our interaction receiving a service but felt more like fraud. I would recommend staying away from this doctor and this service if you are interested in receiving anything resembling medical care. And this comes from someone whose parents are both a nurse and a doctor.
If I had accidentally chosen the wrong provider on this platform that seems to prioritize profit over care, then just cancel the appointment. It aligns with the ethical standards expected in healthcare, yet it appears those standards are overlooked when there's an opportunity for telehealth work and insurance reimbursement. It's a frustrating experience. Be sure to request account deletion to avoid any charges.
This service is remarkably incompetent. My appointment was arranged very quickly, but it was only a brief 60-90 second video call with a doctor. I specifically requested a referral for a "transvaginal-pelvic ultrasound". The doctor rushed through the conversation and then abruptly asked if there was anything else. I reiterated my need for the referral covering transvaginal, pelvic, and abdominal pain. She just said, "Okay, goodbye, then!" A few days later, I received a referral that only mentioned a transvaginal ultrasound, with nothing for the pelvic or abdominal scans. I spent over 8 hours trying to contact imaging centers, who informed me that the referral would not suffice for my needs, and I attempted to reach the service multiple times via email. Their online comment form is non-functional, and their support app only offers AI responses that keep stating, "It may be hours before your doctor can respond. I will inform you when they do." As I am on a business trip, I have limited time to complete the necessary scans, and this has been a significant waste of my time. There was no acknowledgment or apology for wasting my hours, either through the app or email. I cannot recommend this service to anyone. It’s absurd that it takes only minutes to take someone's payment, yet hours and hours to hope for a response, especially when the mistake was theirs in the first place. Truly incompetent.
