I shipped my car 2019 Chevy Malibu from Chicago to Florida. I couldn’t have picked a better company. They assigned for my vehicle be picked up through a company called Mega Load. My vehicle was picked up on August 27th 2021 from Chicago and delivered on September 1st 2021 to Florida which was super fast. My overall experience was amazing . I received my car with no damage and I’ll definitely recommend this company to my family and friends. Thank you guys so very much for making my moving to Florida stress-free. Keep up the good work . P.S. I love the line of communication, every step of the way they made sure they sent me and my fiancé a text about my vehicle so thanks again :)
I am moving from California to Michigan. My Relocation Specialist Charlie, has been so patient and helpful. I adjusted my inventory quite a few times and he was very accommodating and never made me feel like I was bothering him. The movers arrived and were very quick and efficient. Jose was running the show and answered all of my questions and concerns about moving my items cross country. They were all very careful with packing and moving the items. So far, it has been a very pleasant experience. Praying that the delivery will be just as smooth! I will leave an additional review once the furniture arrives!
Played some music while these guys unloaded and helped pack a few odd shaped items. They were upbeat and fun to work with which means a lot considering what's going on in the world. Calling around they were able to offer one of the best deals with no added pricing or last minute fees. I can't think of a single thing I'd want them to change or an instance I disliked. Everyone handled themselves well.
East Coast West Coast handled our move in a unique way. They don't have those typical sales shark rates that work against customers. Those hourly, by gas mileage, etc sort of rates. I was quoted a price based on how much I was moving and where I was moving to. Not by the hour. I was also not charged for getting a quote. You'd be surprised at how many places want you to pay for their time before you start doing business with them. They had a great method to the moving madness, which made things much more efficient. Everything was simplified so not only could I understand the terms, it made more sense. I look at this place as a company that does their best to make sure any stress you have when starting your move doesn't continue.
I wish I had as much energy as this whole team. During our move they were focused on cleanliness (covid masks and gloves) and were very detailed. Both packing, unpacking and organizing was handled by them. Zero damage at all. Boxes were neatly packed and cushioned with packing materials. From what I saw all the movers were well trained, moving fast with some items and gentle with fragile ones. Labeling, they did it all. I got to be friends with one of the movers, he told me he's been working with them for a few years now. It was a good feeling knowing everything I own was in the hands of a quality company. Instead of one trying to make a quick extra buck, like the rest of them. East Coast, West Coast gets my full recommendation and I honestly don't think I've ever once said that about a moving company.
This moving company really went above and beyond even though they didn't have to. Staff was so helpful. We are a family of 5 and moving across the country in the midst of pandemic is beyond stressful. The movers and phone support staff at ECWCE did a great job helping us stay calm. They were both reassuring and confident. They kept us updated with the truck's arrival time. Their great communication combined with their work ethic really made this move low stress.
We recently used ECWCE for a move to a new loft apartment for a new job. We moved out of Chicago and into San Diego and they handle just about everything. I reached out via email late one night and got contacted the very next morning. We circled back after comparing some other options. Although they don't typically price match (we were told) they were willing to beat out one competitor that we were considering. This was the first time my spouse and I had moved out of state together. It felt stressful in the beginning because we just didn't know what to expect from these movers or if there were hidden fees. After meeting them in person and getting updated while things were on the way we really started to realize that they knew what they were doing. It's only natural to have some doubts when first using a company. We have zero doubts anymore. This business is excellent and I don't say that often about services.
Service here was top notch. We had a 4 man team that was very friendly and really put their backs into it. Our family has a lot of large items that have thrown off movers in the past but the crew here packed and moved everything things like champs. We have a 12 ft bookshelf and large vintage couch that we were assuming would be a huge issue moving but they were able to wrap it and get it on the truck without a problem. This move turned out to be much less of a hassle than I had in my mind. Nothing turned up broken, scratched or missing. Best decision ever! Everything got into our new home safely and the movers even helped us arrange furniture.
They were very professional and cordial on the phone, and they provided us with a "Binding agreement" after assessing all items we wanted to move. The day of the move (one day before we had to move out, and four days before starting a new out of state job) the movers showed up. Right away, they showed a huge surprise about the household being moved and started calling and talking with their manager in a foreign language. They then noted that this is more than they calculated initially and therefore went up by >30% of their original quote (no legal). I attempted to call the manager who initially provided the quote, who mysteriously was not available. We had no choice other to sign the new agreement, as the option would have been to either legally insist on the original price, and hand them over our livelihoods, or not move that day and find a new company last minute. Both seemed no option. We also needed to store our items in their storage for several months before moving into a new place, and therefore felt hostage to and unable to file a complaint. In a worse way, we felt taken advantage of the general rip off one experiences here and there. We had no option other than letting them get away with it. When you move into a new state, buy a new home, sell your old one, and deal with new jobs, the last thing you have the bandwidth is to hire a lawyer and fight these fights. And they know it.
I wasn’t looking forward to this move. I mean who gets excited for the moving part. It’s getting settled in that's exciting. I just kept thinking about that moment to get me through everything. East Coast West Coast made this move a heck of a lot easier without a doubt. For once I didn’t get tricked with some extra charge at the end. Rates were honest, straight forward and zero fine print. Move lasted a few days but everything arrived in great condition. The moving crew did a good job wrapping and packing everything. We moved from Philadelphia to San Diego without any issues whatsoever.
