Had really nice movers, though they did damage a painting slightly. The real issue is that they did not stick to their "binding estimate" even remotely, it came in about 40% higher. I got a discount over the phone due to the estimate being so wrong, but then they tried to send me a contract with the old price and no discount. The sales agent I was working with was pretty unresponsive throughout and eventually seems to have quit or been fired, so then I was talking with a new person who was not aware of the discount we had agreed to on the phone. At this point my stuff is held completely hostage and they were applying high pressure sales tactics to get me to sign the new price or they would start charging me daily fees.
They did not uphold to the contract and deliver to their Standard Service. In the beginning they were very polite and professional. Very responsive and quick. Once I signed the contract and they had their payment they completely changed. The move specialist hung up the phone on me when I was asking questions about the delivery and was very rude. They may need to check on their employees because they don’t seem like they are doing okay if that is how they are speaking with a customer. When the movers arrived to deliver they would not move our items to where we wanted them and said they would only leave them in the garage. They wouldn’t even unpack the items listed in their standard services and remove the packing material. Complete scam or spiteful employee that directed the field team not to provide the service in the contract. They already had my money so what do they care. DO NOT RECOMMEND and they should be investigated.
I had my vehicle shipped from Nevada to New York using ECWC Express The whole process went smoothly as planned. Everyone that was involved with my shipment was communicative and helpful. I have shipped vehicles with other carriers in the past but East Coast West Coast Shippers is by far the best and most reliable out of them all. There were no delays & their estimated delivery date was spot on. I had the pleasure of being present when my vehicle was collected and dropped off. It was the same driver that handled my vehicle with extreme care. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely return to them if I need vehicle shipping again.
