It was a very simple process to book the dumpster being dropped off and picked up. However, I found out after the fact that they are just a broker and do not actually deliver or pick up the dumpster. It's done by another party. Even though additional charges for over three ton limit are listed on the contract, they never really specified how they would let us know if it was actually over before they charge your card the extra fee. I received an invoice by email after they picked up the dumpster showing there was nothing due, so I assumed contract was closed, and there weren't any additional charges. Then I see a $72 charge on my card that I wasn't notified about. I had to call their office to find out what the charge was for and it was then I was told it was for an overweight charge. I wasn't trying to dispute the fact that the there was an additional charge for anything over 3 tons in the contract. I was asking why there was no communication regarding the additional charge before they charged my card. The person that I spoke to on the phone when I called about it basically was telling me that I was stupid because I didn't read the contract and I should have known. It wasn't about reading the contract.It was about their company notifying me by email or text that the weight was over three tons and they would be charging my card the additional $72. This is why I rated it with three stars. I think communication and service after the sale are pretty necessary. I guess I'm supposed to trust the fact that it was over three tons because they never provided any documentation verifying it.
I just spoke with Chris at easy dumpster rental in Jacksonville. What his company offers is more than I need. He was 100% honest with me about that and talked to me about a more affordable option for what I needed. I really appreciated his honesty and transparency. It makes me wish I did have a bigger project.
Awesome experience with Easy Dumpster Rental. Most affordable and quick drop off. Was also pleasantly surprised when I woke up Monday and they had already removed the dumpster from the property. Would give more stars if I could.
