Terrible experience with the company. At check-in, we had to pay €60 because one out of our three bags was supposedly over the allowed size. On top of that, the employee was aggressive.
At boarding, they checked the bag sizes again, which was ridiculous since this had already been done at check-in. Even though the bags fit perfectly, they still made us pay another €120, claiming they were oversized, which was not true. They told us the bags would not fit under the seats, and to make matters worse, they made us board last, almost causing us to miss the flight.
Because we boarded last, there was no space left in the overhead compartments, so we had to place the bags under the seats. This was absurd, since they made us pay extra claiming the bags would not fit under the seat, but in the end, they do whatever is most convenient for them to make more money.
A terrible experience with aggressive staff who do not even try to listen to passengers. And just to make it clear, we had already paid for one checked bag when we purchased the tickets as well.
I brought a bag the correct dimensions, I came through on Gatwick fine, on the other side I got fined. The fine was more than the cost of the flight there and back. My friend put his extra stuff in a bag for life and walked through fine.
I’m only giving them 1 star because there was no option to leave 0 stars. I flew with Easy Jet from Birmingham to Belfast. I had a 10kg bag in my allowance. Upon arrival a member of staff guided me to the baggage size check. I put my bag in and it fit fine. She then told me it’s all okay. So why then am I being told by another member of staff right before boarding that I have to pay £48 for the baggage. I showed him it clearly fit in but apparently it fits in the extra size one…which is still 10kg. My bag is still less than the weight limit and still fits in the overhead locker as it would’ve if it was in this smaller size which they failed to address upon my arrival to the airport. So either the first colleague has mis-informed me or the second colleague is robbing me. Either way I recommend not flying with these money grabbing con artists.
Shocking pre flight service, I rang easyJet 2 to get re assurance of smooth boarding for an upcoming business trip to and from the UK. I’m effected by recent changes to electronic identification being a dual national travelling on foreign passport. First call told get ETA then was hung up on second call what do you want me to do cancel your flight. Lastly while im writing this review the operator has put me on hold with excusing themselves. Poor service hope I don’t have issues abroad
Terrible. I appreciate things happen but cannot accept the total lack of ownership, clarity and professionalism in dealing with cancellations and refunds. Cannot meet basic legislative criteria surely. Will never use again. Would encourage anyone to not use this company.

I was very much excited to travel with easy jet and head much good from friends.
But my own experience was really worst.
My flight from Luton to Paris at 11:35 on 23/02/26 and return Paris to Luton 24/02/26 at 21:35,
While boarding in Luton one of easy jet ladies employee charged me £48 pound for just having jacket I told them it’s look heavy just because of jacket there’s nothing else and showed them but she didn’t listen me. It’s really insane the charges was more then my one way flight,
She made me mad in my happy holiday time.
After charging they did nothing. The half flight was empty and no disturbance for any luggage at all. I know easy jet is large organisation but snatching money from people without reason is not good for u at all. It was huge amount for me paid for nothing,
The second and horrible experience while returning from Paris one of the black ground staff gay who was issuing boarding pass. He was treating me like an illegal traveller and much more questions then immigration officers. Trust me much more annoying he was very rude and had a rough body language doesn’t suits at all. And never said thanks also.
I don’t know how this stupid people are working with them.
Lastly I swear I will never gonna travel with them ever,

The college on the phone was extremely accommodating and helpful. Was previously on a live chat with an assistant and didn’t get much help. He made it very easy and sorted my issue within a minute
Customer service has been excellent...from start to finish with excess baggage claims...
It took a while to be resolved, but with a a bit patience it was a positive outcome and every person I dealt with were polite and courteous.
My experience with easyJet was unacceptable ❌I had already paid extra for a cabin bag since my ticket only included a small backpack, yet I was charged an additional €58 because I hadn’t checked the bag in at the counter. Paying twice for the same thing due to unclear rules is simply outrageous. Do yourself a favor and choose reliable airlines that respect their customers, not companies that seem more interested in squeezing extra money out of them.
