Fell for this Facebook scam..but checked it first on Google and looked genuine. But..shoes are late arriving , one pair missing and resting to accept returns u less you pay for shipping ..who’s now presumably to China . Offered paltry sum instead. Is this legal?

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. I wish to goodness I'd seen all the reviews before. What a complete was of money. I checked out what I believed to be a genuine shop in York.I had emailed them and asked why goods were coming from China. I asked why it was taking so long. If I could I will take to tradingstandards. However, it's my own stupid fault for being taken in.Please don't let anyone else get caught up

Edith&Mae York scam

Fell for the social media advert, but seemed genuine as pictures showed a boutique in York. The email up dates about delivery very good. However, when I realised product which was “jumper with cat motif” was being shipped from China, i became suspicious. Product poor quality, like a badly stitched fleece top. I have no intention of bearing the cost of returning to China as shown on there returns link. My fault for being taken in by slick advertising and site. Now see more “companies selling same top, so it is a scam. Will not happen again! Do not use, waste of money

Edith & Mae York yet another scam co on Instagram…

Thus is yet another scam via Instagram and other pages .. selling shoes and clothes masquerading as a 2 woman small local company selling quality products .. none of which is true .. they all come direct from China and there is automated answers and options for returns .. ie replacement size voucher or ship to China at own cost no liability for lost packages .. simply do not buy of this fake company .. its a scam company ..

This is a con they are not based in…

This is a con they are not based in York they are based in America. Hence why it takes so long for the product to arrive and when it does it so substandard. Do not buy from them. I am embarrassed I was duped.

AVOID, IT'S A SCAM!!!!

Don't trust this company, even if they tell you it's someone with a similar name, that their store is actually based in the UK or the Netherlands or ANYWHERE! Sadly I fell for this scam and now have to try to contact my bank for a refund. I'm furious!AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Adverts are fake

I checked the ad out on google which showed a picture of two seemingly very nice women outside a shop supposedly which they set up in York in 2016.All lies the company has a unit in an industrial estate and items are shipped in from abroad. Three weeks later still no shoes.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam, Shein/temu items with luxury boutique prices and tak forever as thy claim they’re being hand made when in reality they’re just coming from china that’s why so long.Have emailed back and forth a few times but they’re playing the long game taking a fortnight averagely to reply without us actually getting anywhere just asking me to reply with questions regarding my order when all I want to do is return for a refund and they’re hoping I get frustrated with how long they’re taking and give up. The latest email is them now arguing a discrepancy in the email address THEY EMAILED ME FROM and are saying it’s not them. I’m not dropping this and am going to report them to my bank
