Review Time
What a time saver! I have been using Efile4Biz to process and send 1099s since 2020 and I really wish I had discovered it years ago. It is such a time saver and the process is so easy to navigate on their sit.
My W-2 forms for three different companies still have not been accepted and it's February 24. They were filed at the end of January and one on February 2. I have received no information that they've been rejected, but it looks like they tried to refile some for me "to push them through" they said. I have used them since 2018 and never had a problem like this. When I asked for help, they referred me to irs.gov.
Really Easy to Use
QuickBooks wanted a minimum of $75 to do 1099s for a maximum of 5 subcontractors through a 3rd party. I looked for another solution. efile4Biz worked like a charm. The 1099s were accepted and our subcontractors received their copies. The cost was extremely reasonable. 1099s are simple forms. We have a payroll subscription with QBs, but 1099s are not included in tax forms. I don't understand that. I'll use efile4Biz.com next year.
The efile4Biz service is great. Forms can be filed very quickly year after year, as information is retained and only updated figures have to be entered. My one suggestion would be an easier way to "edit" a recipient for something as basic as an address update. I will CERTAINLY use this service in the future.
