I'm sure there are a lot of us in the same position here !
MISSOLD holiday vouchers and deals and promises by Beachtravels for varying amounts of money and then constantly receiving 2 phonecalls a day to attempt to get us to part with even more money. This company should NOT be allowed to literally ROB people! Not anywhere has anyone actually been able to use the "offers".
I also have tried to " book" only to find the supplement costs higher than I myself can book direct with companies. I travel 3/5 holidays every year and not once has BEACHTRAVEL or their latest SCAM company been able to accommodate their vouchers to be used. I'm not fussy about where I go or stay, just simply want to use the offers that I have been sold !!!
I saw an advertisement on social media for a three-night getaway in a popular region. After discussing the details, I was informed that I was not eligible for the offer despite having paid a deposit. Instead, they suggested an upgrade to a seven-night stay and referred me to another travel agency for a supposedly better deal. Upon contacting the new agency, I learned that additional fees would apply based on the holiday choice. I clearly stated that we were looking for a UK vacation due to our small dog. Their website proved to be extremely frustrating, as many others have likely experienced. Now, we find ourselves dealing with yet another travel company. While the UK holiday options they provided seem reasonably priced, our initial deposit appears to have vanished. After being shuffled between three different companies, we have chosen to escalate our complaint to the relevant authorities, as it seems this service is collecting deposits without delivering on promises. If necessary, we will pursue a formal claim to ensure our concerns are addressed.
I told them to keep their holidays and the £180 voucher I purchased. I attempted to book a few days in a city and was presented with three options, each requiring an additional £400 payment. I chose not to proceed. After receiving daily calls, I requested a refund, stating I did not want to incur extra fees. They informed me that refunds were not possible. They are scammers and deceitful. Be cautious.
I was reached out to after accepting an initial offer for discounted holidays. When I attempted to book a week away, I was asked to pay £620, while the online price was £640. By this point, I had already paid over £1500. Each time they called, I was encouraged to upgrade my package, totaling £2500. Today, they called again for another upgrade. Previously, I was told my full package allowed access to various resorts, but when I tried to book, I was transferred to a travel agent who offered minimal discounts. I confronted the caller today about the scam and refused to pay more. He claimed I was in the minority of clients and that not paying would hinder my booking ability. I expressed my dissatisfaction, having spent all that money thinking I’d get multiple holidays, which is crucial since my partner has dementia and traveling can be challenging.
I came across an advertisement on social media for a three-night getaway in a scenic area. After contacting them, I was informed that I didn't qualify after paying £150, but they offered an upgrade to a week and directed me to another company for a supposedly better deal. Upon speaking to that company, I learned I would have to pay extra based on the holiday I wanted. I specifically requested a holiday in the UK due to my small dog. Their website is a complete mess, as many others have noted. Now, I find myself dealing with yet another company. While they offered good prices for UK holidays, it seems my £150 deposit has vanished. After being shuffled between three companies, I've decided to escalate my complaint to the relevant authorities, as it appears this company collects deposits without delivering anything. If needed, I will pursue a claim through small claims court to make my experience known.
My reviews were flagged by the company as 'defamatory.' However, the review site assessed these reviews and determined they are not defamatory, so they will remain published. The company has requested further information multiple times. I have emailed them with complete details on three occasions.
I bought a holiday last year for over £200 but never got to use it. Instead, I was constantly pestered with calls asking when I would book my holiday. Eventually, I foolishly purchased another voucher for £359 to be used within three years. Since January, I have received multiple calls each week, often twice a day, asking when I would take my holidays. Today, I lost my temper and demanded my £359 back, citing harassment. They flatly refused to refund me. I plan to escalate this matter for a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
This company is very close to being a scam. They sold me a £492 voucher valid for three years, claiming to have more hotels than a popular booking site and offering promotional or supplementary holidays. After purchasing the voucher, I tried to book a promotional holiday but found no availability for my dates. I later attempted to use the voucher for a supplementary holiday, but it doesn't work that way. The voucher cannot be used as a supplement. All it does is connect you to an agent who finds the same deals available online. I cannot utilize either the supplement or the voucher. I requested a refund since they cannot fulfill their obligations, but they outright refused. They only have one hotel in Europe, which has poor reviews. I strongly advise against giving them your money.
Stay away at all costs! I was misled about holiday vouchers, being told I could book promotional stays at several 4 and 5-star resorts, including options in the UK. Two years later, I still haven't seen any UK properties or 4 and 5-star options. They refuse to issue refunds and bombard me with numerous calls—over ten in a week—with aggressive and misleading sales tactics. There should be an investigation, as many have been misled and sold false promises.
