Problem with temperature regulation. Emailed 8sleep with description of problem with temperature regulation and received helpful reply very quickly. Diagnosed that there was actually an unrepairable problem with circulation of water in system and a replacement pod was sent immediately. We are using our 8sleep again with great results.

Customer service emails are extremely deceptive. One agent will promise one thing and second will tell you something else. The autopilot membership starts the minute you order the unit and has no bearing on when you open it. The subscription and auto renew is where you will be charged. Be careful.

I'd like to clarify our Autopilot policy to help address your concern.
Autopilot is a mandatory subscription for the first 12 months of Pod ownership. This means the initial subscription purchased in 2024 is not eligible for a refund per our policy, as it represents the mandatory membership period required with your Pod purchase.
The "Original subscription" refund that was processed refers to the 2025 renewal charge, the continuation of your membership after the initial 12-month period. This renewal charge was refunded as a one-time courtesy, but the original Autopilot subscription from 2024 remains non-refundable under our terms.
We understand this may be frustrating, especially since your Pod remained unopened. However, the Autopilot subscription is tied to the device purchase itself rather than activation or usage, which is why the charge processed even though the Pod was never used.

Issues with Double Billing for Renewal

I experienced double billing for the renewal of the service. After a month of back-and-forth emails with an ineffective chatbot posing as a representative, which repeatedly assured me that my refund was on the way, nothing has been resolved. I now have to initiate a chargeback with my card provider.

Disappointed with the Sleep Pod Experience

I truly wanted to enjoy the Sleep Pod, but unfortunately, it fell short — and the way the service manages returns only added to my frustration.
I bought the Pod in hopes of significantly enhancing my sleep. However, during the initial phase, I was away from my usual routine and couldn’t accurately assess its effectiveness until I returned to work on January 5th. Once back, I found that my sleep quality had returned to what it was before — no improvement at all, certainly not enough to justify the high cost.
What’s particularly disappointing is that the company was inflexible about their 30-day return policy, despite most mattress and sleep-product providers offering longer trial periods since these products need time to integrate into your normal routine. I explained my situation clearly and reasonably, but they made no concessions.
For a brand with premium pricing, I expected a customer-centric experience. Instead, I’m left with an expensive product that didn’t fulfill its promises and a service that is unwilling to support its claims about “sleep improvement” in a significant way.
I’m sharing this so potential buyers are aware that they need to make a quick decision on whether this product suits them — because the company won’t offer any additional support if you require a bit more time.

I have been attempting to return my sleep product, but the company has been unresponsive to my emails. If you require assistance from them, I suggest looking elsewhere... Their customer service is quite poor.

I have been using the sleep pod cover for several years and currently own three of them. Overall, I am extremely happy with the product. Although I feel that a previous version performed slightly better than the latest model, I have been satisfied with every iteration I’ve had, and they have become a key part of my sleep routine. Recently, I bought a new blanket. Unfortunately, it wasn’t suitable for my wife, so we opted to return it. What impressed me was how smooth the return process was—quick, straightforward, and easy to manage. The customer support was outstanding: responsive, organized, and genuinely helpful. I returned the item within the designated timeframe and received a full refund without any hassle. Given the long-term quality of the products and the consistently excellent customer support, I can confidently recommend this service. Even when a product isn’t the right fit, they handle the experience with professionalism and care, which says a lot about their commitment to customers.

Frustrating Customer Support Experience

The customer support experience has been incredibly frustrating. There is no support number available, and when you email, you end up waiting two days for a response that doesn't address your actual question. I detailed an issue I needed assistance with in the app, but I kept receiving emails every couple of days asking if I had tried downloading the app or reminding me to use my username to log in. At one point, I genuinely wondered if this was some kind of prank.

Completely ineffective now

Completely ineffective now. Both my and my partner's information is entirely incorrect. It's a total waste of money, and quite a lot at that! It seemed to function well initially, but now, a year later, it's completely inaccurate. It gets everything wrong. Customer service? WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!? I attempted the chat feature. No assistance. I checked the FAQs. No help there either. I tried calling and was on hold for over 32 minutes, only to have the system inform me, "Sorry, we're not available," and then hang up! Spend your money elsewhere. I feel awful, as it was a gift from our son. :(

Disappointing Longevity Despite Initial Benefits

I bought a sleep pod cover around five years ago. Unfortunately, it started leaking in 2022, and the cause was never determined. It was replaced under warranty. However, just a month ago, I encountered another leak, and this time it wasn't covered. We appreciated the advantages of the system, but based on our experience, it lacks reliability and isn't worth the investment, especially since it seems to only last about five years, even with a replacement at two years. Caution is advised for potential buyers.

Awful customer support

Awful customer support, delivery dates keep changing and no one seems to be able to assist. No response when I call, just terrible. I'm really disappointed; for such a pricey product, I expected much better service.
