The worst of the very worst. You seriously need to ask yourself if you are seeing that the NHS want you ill and clearly push you to get worse. I'd say avoid it and if you are very ill, try going abroad for honest assistance

Lack of preventive care; only reactive treatment.

There is no preventive care; they send you away until you're severely ill. I've been unwell for over two weeks now. Last Sunday, I was coughing so intensely that I struggled to breathe. I called for assistance and was seen by an ambulance attendant. He examined me and seemed to find my situation amusing, saying, "Some people cough for over a week and then return." I was advised to take pain relievers, and that was all. Now, I'm in a worse state, still coughing, and additionally experiencing heart palpitations and significant back pain. The staff appear to focus solely on treatment after the fact, urging you to wait until the illness escalates. There's a lack of foresight and concern. One reviewer claimed the service is exceptional and found no faults; that seems absurd and overly flattering. Perhaps they haven't experienced healthcare elsewhere and don't understand how it should function. It's quite disappointing.

NHS has declined significantly ☹️

As an older adult, I was notified to get the COVID jab, made an appointment, but upon arrival, I was deemed ineligible despite my compromised immune system from previous cancer surgeries and a heart attack. I recently tested positive for COVID and feel awful 🤬. I was told that I need to be nearly dying to qualify for the jab 😔. The NHS is not what it used to be.

Lack of care and response from the service

It’s clear that the service does not prioritize patient care, given their lack of response to feedback. On Christmas Day, I called them due to severe pain in my back that left me unable to move at all. I had already mentioned my limited mobility and that I had taken co-codamol, which should not be mixed with paracetamol due to liver risks. Instead of providing support, the representative asked a series of scripted questions that seemed aimed at dismissing my need for assistance. Then, she suggested two things: whether I could leave my home if necessary and to take paracetamol to enhance pain relief. Is she not listening? This is utterly appalling. They seem more focused on cutting costs than on ensuring patient health or safety.

National Wealth Service, not Health

It's clear that the NHS does not prioritize care, as they ignore reviews. On Christmas Day, I called them due to severe back pain that left me unable to move. I had already informed the representative of my condition and my medication, but she just asked irrelevant questions. Then, she suggested I could take paracetamol to boost the pain relief. Is she deaf and trying to harm me? It’s quite disgusting. They seem more focused on saving money than on health or life.

Outstanding treatment received.

After enduring chronic Erosive Pustular Dermatosis for five years, I was used to lumps appearing and disappearing. When a lump grew and began to bleed, my GP referred me to a local hospital. A week later, I saw a consultant, and the very next day, the lump was removed. Truly exceptional treatment.

NHS is falling apart

I had to request to be removed from a poor gastro team due to incorrect medications and unnecessary invasive tests, leading to kidney issues from arthritis medication. I cannot speak to the rheumatology department for three weeks, by which time my kidneys may be severely damaged. I will spend Christmas without medication, back to square one with pain and illness. The NHS is completely broken, and people are suffering because of it.

Home Treatment Team's shortcomings

The Home Treatment Team discharges you on the same day, even if you're at risk of harm. They do not involve you in care plans or create proper safety measures.
