My husband and I wanted to explore downtown Detroit, so we stayed at a lovely condo for two days. It was centrally located, with amazing restaurants and the waterfront just a short walk away. The check-in process took some time, but once we found the key fob, everything went smoothly. Check-out was easy as well. We loved our experience and would definitely return, and I've recommended it to friends and coworkers.
My fiancée booked a room in Detroit through a platform for a birthday celebration. Upon arrival, we were informed of a leak in the second bedroom closet, which was supposed to be resolved. However, we found a dingy pillow and a spray can of primer on the bed. Despite multiple emails and texts, we never spoke to a live person, and the management only offered a 'complimentary late check-out' as compensation. We requested a discount for our inconvenience, but they dismissed our request. The unit itself was acceptable, but I doubt even their own team would agree with our experience, especially given their luxury branding. Many negative reviews seem to relate to Detroit bookings rather than other locations.
This company struggles with resolving issues and customer service. We booked a two-bedroom unit at full price, only to find a leak, mold in the second bedroom, and garbage left in the unit. There were stains on the sheets and walls, and we were advised not to use the second bedroom due to the mold, with no alternative accommodations offered. After paying in full, the company ignored my attempts to contact them for resolution. I do not recommend this company.
We stayed at an apartment in Baltimore through a platform, and we were thoroughly impressed. The apartment exceeded our expectations, and communication was always prompt and accessible. We couldn't be happier and plan to stay again soon.
This company is not even deserving of a one-star rating. We rented a condo in Charlotte for three nights, and they didn’t clean the unit until our last day. The replacement sheets and towels were wet and folded in the linen closet. I was in constant contact with them, yet they offered no alternative accommodations and refused to issue a refund. It’s unbelievable.
This company uses AI technology and conceals room sensors to monitor air density for smoke and noise levels. You will be under constant surveillance. We needed a quick place in Detroit to attend a funeral/celebration of life in Detroit. We booked 2 nights because of what we thought was an ideal location. After receiving the check in and parking instructions containing more than 1,000 words we studied up and thought we were prep'd to check in. We declined the multiple messages to check in early for an extra $89 and arrived at 5pm. As we arrived- in heavy traffic- the only choice we had was to double park and then venture into a dingy, smelly alley to find and unlock a key box. The box was empty. What followed was a frantic text exchange of at least 30 messages to a generic 888 number to locate the keys. We were required to take a picture of the empty box and send it via email to verify that it was indeed empty. It turns out that the apartment was dirty and the management company was sending the local agent over to clean it up. The local agent told me that he had no notice that the apartment was rented. The management company stated that there was a team emergency which was a lie. We finally got into the apartment 2 hours later- missing our event with family. The prepaid parking pass we ordered did not work in the designated deck and we had to dispute the charges with the cc company. On the inside, we found bent vertical blinds on windows, broken trim stashed in drawers, dirty floors, marked up doors, half used full sized bottles of shampoo/body wash and the most dirty, dust encrusted air vent I've ever seen. I cannot recommend this place due to the way they treat their guests and a complete lack of oversight of local staff by the management company. It was very tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. We had a couple of minor problems but the woman who helped us at the end of our visit (Kelsey) was extremely competent and assured us they would be corrected. I would give it 4 stars and recommend it to others. This was my first time at a bnb.
Don’t ever stay with this company. We stayed 7 nights. Entire Building under renovations. Sawdust everwhere. We had 2 days of water outages from 9 am to 4 pm. The pool was temporarily closed. The apartment was dirty and smelled when we arrived . It took 2 days for cleaner to arrive. I sent photos of everything. The did refund Cleaning fees and let me check out at 2 pm. But otherwise no compensation whatsoever for paying Luxury prices and getting backpackers lodgings.
