From my experience I was told that I could not upgrade my Windows 8 because Microsoft ended support for Windows 8 and 8.1 on January 2023. This meant that I could no longer perform a direct upgrade to Windows 10 and if I wanted Windows 10 on my PC, I had to perform a clean installation and could not use the Media Creation Tool.I wasn't really wanting to do that because I didn't want to have to go through all hassle of having to try and find all my info for my software I have on my PC but, I don't know any other way.
