A Frustrating Experience with the Service

I have endured a 60-day frustrating ordeal with the service that has now escalated to my legal representative. I was sold a 120W device but received a 60W one instead. When I requested a refund, the management team engaged in a deliberate scheme of misinformation. The Misinformation:
They provided me with a screenshot claiming a collection was arranged and blamed the driver for not arriving. However, I checked directly with the courier service, which confirmed there was no record of any booking. Even more alarming, the screenshot sent by the manager clearly showed the status as "CANCELLED" on their platform. They made a person who is housebound for medical reasons wait all day for a non-existent van they knew wouldn't show up. The Harrassment:
Even after I revoked permission for phone contact and notified the relevant authorities, they continued to call my private number from various mobile numbers. They only issued a refund once a legal deadline was imposed, realizing I had documentation proving their "Ghost Booking." Advice to Consumers: Keep track of your records, verify their claims with the courier, and don't let them intimidate you. If you're in County Clare or elsewhere—avoid this service. This issue is now with my legal counsel.

Caught red-handed lying to a housebound customer "pantomime"…

I have had a 60-day "pantomime" experience with Expert Ireland that has now been escalated to my solicitor.I was sold a 120W device but sent a 60W one. When I requested a refund, the "Expert" management team engaged in a calculated campaign of deception.The Deception:They sent me a photo of a computer screen claiming a DPD collection was "organized" and then blamed the driver for "failing" to show up. However, I verified this with DPD Ireland directly. The courier confirmed they had no record of the booking. Even more shocking, the photo the manager sent as "proof" actually showed the status as "CANCELLED" on their own portal.They forced a man who is housebound for medical treatment to wait all day for a "phantom" van they knew was never coming.The Harassment:Even after I revoked permission for phone contact and CC'd the CCPC, they continued to call my private number from 087 mobiles.They only issued a refund once a legal deadline was set and they realized I had the documentary proof of their DPD "Ghost Booking."Advice to Consumers: Check your records, verify everything they say with the courier, and don't let them bully you. Lies about stock availability, leaves you hanging.

Ordered a Fridge to replace one that suddenly stopped working on 30th December. Needed it quick but did expect delivery to take a week or little more because of New Years. Order email confirmed on 30th, but rang Expert on Monday 5th January as order not updated with expected delivery date. Was told then that order was only being processed as they were closed over Christmas break, but that I should get confirmed date that evening. I noticed that morning that their site now said the fridge I ordered was not in stock anymore. Nothing changed that evening, so next morning I ring back and am told again that order is not yet processed, but I will be told by afternoon/evening. Again no confirmation received and calls not answered (from 3.50pm onwards). Ring back the next morning to finally be told that they don't have the fridge anymore and can't fulfil the order. I now have to wait for a refund (which has to go through Humm, because I paid with that service) and then order the fridge from somewhere else which means another week or more with no fridge.A computer stock error is annoying but can be forgiven, but not being honest about stock and dragging this out for days means I'll never shop with Expert again.

It said free delivery on line

It said free delivery on line, I rang shop in Sligo because I wanted it delivered to Sligo, ordered item i mentioned free shipping gave address, was told sale sale had gone through and it would be 30eu delivery for a cd player, I immediately cancelled, I should have been informed about shipping cost before sale went through, now have to wait up to 5 days for refund, buyer beware, free shipping only online orders, even at that 30eu for local delivery is crazy

I ordered an air fryer on the 29th and was told I could collect it on Wednesday, or definitely by Friday. When I called again on Wednesday, I was informed that the order had not been placed. The staff said they would order it again ASAP and advised me to collect it on Friday.When I called on Friday, I was once again told that it had not been ordered and was then advised to collect it on Monday instead.I chose to buy from EXPERT because it was €15 cheaper, but now I’ve had to wait far longer than promised just to keep that lower price. Very poor service and communication.Highly unrecommended.

AWFUL

AWFUL! Ordered a GoPro handle received a totally wrong delivery. Contacted them, was told to email a picture of wrong item, nothing back. Rang the office was told it would be dealt with nothing! Rang again with a struggle to actually get some to talk to again was told it would be dealt with. Finally I rang again because I heard nothing to be told that I will be refunded! This went on for 3 weeks!

I would rather give this company 0 stars but that it not an option.Placed an order for a small item 10 days ago, there systems were down apparently so the money was taken form bank but no confirmation email of purchase. Had to ring to get this. I then got a confirmation email which said delivery within 3-5 working days.Nothing arrived, I then went to chase this 4 ignored emails and 25 calls with no answer on their main number I finally got through. My order hadn’t even left the warehouse one more day I received a tracking number for DPDA message from DPD yesterday with hour slot stayed in all day no one came. Message from DPD at 8pm tried to deliver no one home. A message from DPD today same this with hour slot stayed in all day still her now and no one has been to my door but low and behold another message from DPD to say tried to deliver no one homeTried to get back on to expert.ie called them 10 times this afternoon and AGAIN NO ANSWER, two emails sent with no reply.Absolutely shocking service from both Expert and DPD. Highly recommend to never order from this company

I ordered and fully paid for a phone 2 weeks ago. It has not been delivered, when I contacted them about this they said it was a glitch in their system and they would fix it. I have sent several emails and no reply also ringing head office with no answer.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Was due a refund as phone wasn't in stock and the matter was handled extremely poorly with paulette sending unprofessional emails. She then told me she had put through my refund i hadn't seen any sign of the refund so i decided to ring and inquire. The person on the phone told me that there hadnt been a refund put through until this morning which is around a week after the day i emailed paulette. Again, very poor customer service. Will not be buying from here again

Awful delivery policy and customer service

Ordered my items last Friday, got an email Monday to say items shipped but no tracking number. I recieved 1 item from my order on Tuesday. No update email to say other items would be shipped at a later date or no sockets with item recieved to advise the same. Emailed them twice Tuesday finally got a response to say the other items would be shipped separately and that I'd get an update on delivery dates. No update received from expert. Got a notification from DPD Friday morning to say they had my delivery still didn't know which items were coming and if any weren't. Still missing an item after delivery. No update from expert.ie about where my final item is. Disaster of a website, tracking system and customer service. Will never buy from them again online.
