We have the most amazing honeymoon in Thailand! We could not have done any of this without the Explorers Passage team. This was such a logistic heavy trip (flights, transfers, boats, taxis, hotels, excursions, etc.) that we would have spent the whole trip worrying if we had planned this ourselves. This way, we got to turn our brains off and just enjoy.
Emmy and Jib, our local guides in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, made our whole trip. We had the best time in these cities all thanks to them.
Thailand as a whole is an amazing country. The food, the buildings, the animals, the citizens, is just incredible. It is the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
This was our first time using a travel agency and now we never want to go back to planning a trip on our own. Every excursion, all our hotels, everything was perfect. We cannot thank Explorer's Passage enough for giving us the best honeymoon and a memories we will have for a lifetime.
The pre-trail guide and the trail guide were both best-in-class. The pre-trail experiences were well thought out and executed. Hotels and rooms were all top of line as well as the restaurants in which we ate. Total trip duration was from October 6 - October 24, 2025
Our trip to Venice and the Dolomites, meticulously crafted by Jeff Bonaldi and his team at The Explorer's Passage, was nothing short of perfection. The entire journey was flawlessly planned, with every aspect taken care of down to the finest detail. Our hotels and restaurant reservations were not only outstanding but perfectly captured the essence of what we had hoped for. All of our transfers and logistics were executed without a single issue, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The level of customization and personal attention was incredible, resulting in a truly unforgettable and hassle-free vacation. What a trip of a lifetime!!! It was such an amazing adventure! Jeff planned the perfect trip for us & the materials & calls leading up to the trip were super professional & helpful. The people, the food, the land, the history… wow. I learned so much and had such an amazing time! Our guide for Cusco, Machu Picchu, & Rainbow Mountain was top-notch - his personal stories, command of the trails, and knowledge of the culture & history were amazing. Everything was beyond my expectations - it was a beautifully curated trip.
Working with Jeff to customize a trip to Patagonia for 5 was really enjoyable, easy and affordable! Jeff listens, asks insightful questions, responds thoughtfully and quickly if done either by Zoom or online. He found a way to include all we wanted to do and seamlessly put it together never making our travel plans and hikes seem like they were jammed together; it gave us downtime for reflecting on such incredible sights and sites. We are fortunate to have connected with Jeff and plan to use his services and network providers again.
Jeff and Explorer's Passage did a simply outstanding job on planning our trip and being extremely responsive during the trip (the few times a little help was needed). I can't say enough and will be booking all future adventure trips with Jeff. He knows his stuff from personal experience, and does a excellent job administratively.
I booked a last second trip to Costa Rica a week before leaving. The team allowed me to pick all of the different activities I wanted to do, and they arranged everything. The trip was amazing. The team at explorer passage made it super easy, all I had to do was wake up in the morning and meet the driver in the lobby and the rest was all taken care of.I decided on the last day to extend my trip and they immediately arranged for accommodations and activities. I highly recommend using this company as they are very organized and made traveling extremely easy and stress free.
I wasn't sure if I was being realistic in trying to pull off what one might consider as an almost "last minute" trip to Santiago/Chilean Patagonia (W Trek) but Jeff assured me that it could still be done. With meticulous planning and attention to detail, the designed trip itinernary was flawless, and to date, it was the trip of my life-time. Thank you Jeff and TEP!!
I want to start by saying I took my 78 year old mom to Costa Rica for a trip before she is not able to do so in the future.I wanted to go and have excursions and things for us to do. However I really didn't want to do a lot of planning. I googled and explorer's passage came up w a lot of experience w planning trips to Costa Rica. I told Jeff 5-6 things I wanted to do and he made up a 7 day itinerary for us that was packed w things to do but not exhausting.I will say that the trip was incredibly smooth and it was 95% due to Jeff's planning of the trip. We had transportation scheduled for every day and they were there without any issues before they needed to be.I highly recommend Jeff and explorer's passage.
