I had yet another total scam yesterday off Facebook marketplace. It’s claimed that that OVER 70% of ALL internet scams are also advertised on this platform. It also seems that reporting them is a waste of time, weeks later they are still up, fleecing the public (with facebook help) supplying inferior or fake copy goods, pretending to be in uk instead of China, ignoring complaints, no phone number etc.etc. If you DO want anything you see on there, try eBay or Amazon and see if its also on there, that way you might even get what you pay for without the hassle or scams...
There's a lot of scams and fraud going on, especially in regards to apartment listings.Even though I notify facebook it takes him a very long time to take them down.Please remember on any facebook marketplace listing, see the product first, or see the apartment first, try to find out if the person showing you the apartment is the owner, as nd not just some contractor.But seeing the unit first is half the battle.Many people listing these scams are from nigeria or india.So they don't have the ability to show you the apartments.They just want a sixty dollar application fee.Don't apply, don't do anything without seeing the unit.
I don't know what's happening with Facebook…marketplace.NOW Facebook marketplace cost me the first time 8500 eurs and now this time approx. 4500 eursI can only state it has become a totally insane system, they block to be able to buy and sell. all of a sudden. when I'm trying to sell my car. so I lose a sale. and my can't contact the person who is interned in buying my car, and even if I complain and ask Meta to check their decision. they don't change their decision. they have a sick feeling that I'm a cheater. but Meta I've tried to write to but it's not easy.I never ask anyone to pay in advance, people only have to pay cash when they come for an item.And when I report a fraudster, who uses a fake ID, a Russian man with a Swedish woman's name, and is making financial fraud, when I was supposed to buy wood pellets, and I never got them, I have a police report that I can prove to the Facebook marketplace, Meta does not delete them, they let them continue.Do not use the Facebook marketplace anymore, stay away.This message came from META - - - Please type your reply above this line - - -meta1. Facebook Marketplace and the ADs should be shutdown completely. It's now officially a scam setup. I would say 90% is officially scam while 10% is genuine. It's concerning considering the high level that's in place. I'm surprised they haven't been fined millions for not doing enough to stop it as Facebook seriously profit on criminal activity
So i always buy stuff from markets place for my vintage shop for the last year or so never had an issue then all of a sudden i have reached my limit to how many sellers i can message lmfao what utter bs this is the last draw back with Facebook,im done with fb i guess will stick to ebay now since it gets delivered and people actually reply as to bs marketplace where 1 out 10 pple will reply so for Facebook to limit how many sellers you can msge just means noone will ever msge back if 1 out 10 sellers reply! Bye Facebook im done
