Financial Plan creation process

My financial planner reviewed my finances and created a plan for couple of scenarios that I requested. By our second meeting I was expecting a more detail roadmap but he said he is waiting on CPA to provide Tax advice before he can share the details. I feel like things are moving in the right direction with planning.
