Ordered some overshoes that were advertised as waterproof. When they arrived they clearly weren’t going to be waterproof so I emailed them. They admitted it was a mistake on their website which they would correct. They told me to send them back (at my expense) and sent me a link to some other shoes that were waterproof. The link was for a pair that said water resistant so I just asked for a refund and a refund of my postage costs. They refunded my order but not my postage. Terrible communication, as a first time customer I wouldn’t recommend or use them ever again. Use Planet X instead.
Initially I was disappointed with the customer service at FDX as I returned a pair of gloves which were the wrong size (my fault.) There didn’t seem to be anyone available to answer the phone each time I called wondering where my replacement gloves were, as time passed and no communication to say if they had received the gloves back. Eventually my email was acknowledged with word of my gloves being sent and partial refund. I feel I would buy from them again.
FDX Sports has both positive and negative aspects. Their products are decent, and they offer prompt replies for some issues, like exchanging sizes quickly. However, their deceptive branding (FDX Sports USA vs. England) and lack of effective customer support make them hard to trust. Shipping costs for returns can be outrageously high. Neutral experience overall.
