Can not say enough good things about Fettle. The fact I don't need to leave my house and worry about parking and fitting travel to an actual office in around work and study is a great help and means I can really focus on my sessions while I'm seeing my therapist. My therapist is a wonderful lady and has been so helpful and I have learnt so much from her.
I had been deciding for awhile that I had needed to go back to counselling again after having had some sessions years ago. This time around I was going because I noticed that whenever I was into a guy or hoping for a relationship I always seemed to choose a man who was attached or not interested in me in any way. I also had self sabotaging tendencies when it came to being attracted to a man. I was fed up with this as I really do desire a long term relationship and I happened to reconnect with a guy from school and we got on great and I didn't want to ruin it. That was when I started looking around online for a counselling website. I had used one before online, betterhelp and they linked me to a therapist who was in the USA and I found this frustrating as our time difference was not easy to contend with plus I wanted to work with an Irish company and keep the money in the country, that was when I found Fettle and I have to say it is the best decision I have made so far. I love that it is online and suits me with times. I know COVID had a role in this but if it hadn't I would have still preferred to do it online as I work shifts and can't always get the time to drive to appointments. Eileen Higgins my therapist is the best therapist I've ever had. I know it is her job to help me but her expertise and warmth has helped me tremendously and I would recommend her to anyone.She has thus, far helped me to believe in myself once again and has listen to me when I found out the guy from school had a girlfriend! and the subsequent fallout from it and the reconcilliation of the friendship me and this guy had from school. She helped me to see my worth and allow myself to know and do what was right for me and that if I pursued anything more with the guy from school that was my perogative and she would support me all the way, I asked her if it made me a failure or a sell out and she said not at all and spoke to me so caring and lovingly about how I am the master of my own life and destiny. I could go on and on but I have a session with her soon!. Eileen is amazing and your company is lucky to have her and I am so delighted with Fettle. There had been issues with payments either double been taken or not taken on time but Brendan was great in resolving these issues. Keep up the good work and I will be recommending your company to anyone I know who expresses a desire to do CBT and other forms of counselling. I've been using Fettle since August 2021 and meeting with the same Therapist and am so happy I joined this community. I feel so safe, unjudged, supported, and feel i've learned to reflect, pause, and process things more in my time speaking to my counsellor. I've gained confidence, life skills, and cannot emphasise enough the importance in investing in yourself mentally the way you do physically.
Excellent service. This is just what the counselling/therapeutic sector needed. It is so empowering to be able to find a therapist at your own pace, rather than waiting months or years for state run services, or even alternative private services. Also, the website is so well thought out. The ability to be able to book from a calendar which therapist suits you and when - at a reasonable price, is invaluable. The booking can even be imported into your own calendar and you get plenty of reminders for your upcoming appointments, which is great when you are distressed and your memory is challenged.
