Review Time
Like other reviewers I didn't realise that a subscription was being setup until £99 was taken from my account, there is no notice from fitcoach about this renewal.I never used the programme as I couldn't get it to work on a TV (fitcoach had that it could eork on TV's phone screen is too small to use it IMO)I wrote to fitcoach to say that I hadn't used the programme and that there was no notice of the amount coming out of my account and could they refund the money taken without notice, as yet they havent replied.it's bad enough they dont get in touch if you are not using the programme ( they certainly got in touch many times when I looked at the plan but hadn't taken it up) but the biggest thing for me is not reminding about the upcoming subscription any company that does not remind folk of a upcoming subscription are being devious. It's obviously not a con and I have to take responsibility for not noticing it was a yearly subscription, but I feel like i've been hoodwinked
I have given 2 stars simply because I have not used the app yet and I do not intend to due to the misleading information, it stated that you pay £24.99 for 6 months per month and once you go onto payment it say this is n induction sale price and after the first month you will pay £49.99 I have since sent numerous emails with no reply. I went to cancel my subscription only to be told via the link that my subscription has been cancelled after July so I will be charged £49.99 per month from February -July. This is not a service I want and although I paid the £24.99 assuming this was for 6 months it has all been misleading and what seems like an entrapment. I will follow with legal steps due to misleading information and entrapment. I will also be contacting my bank account to revoke all payments that are attempted on my bank cards. I will be contacting stripe to report this and ask them to remove my bank details from this companies stripe account, anything else that I can do to put an end to this I will be doing. I will update to let you all know the outcome
I've been using FitCoach for the past 18 months primarily using the stretching module about 80% of the time each week. I find the stretching exercises to be practical and I enjoy the variation from day to day. I can assure you, my mobility, including range of motion is so much better on a continual basis because of my commitment to use the app five days a week. Come first of the year I will start back also using a second module, either cardio or abs. I don't really have any constructive criticism as I think the app is well organized, and easy to use. In fact, I have recommended it to many people and they are also now using it. Keep up the good work and hopefully y'all will be around a long time so I don't have to find a different app for stretching!!Curtis Donaldson
DO NOT USE! They have an auto-renewal set up and will refuse to refund your money. I had tried the app a year ago and didn’t like it, but I had paid for the year, so I sucked it up. Yesterday, I received another charge for a year’s subscription and immediately reached out to them but they are refusing to refund my money. There are better, more customer-friendly apps out there. Do not use this one.
