Had pretty high expectations. Had heard it can come out a bit dark but proceeded anyway. Some people say formula might have changed?Purchase was made on recommendation of website suggestion. Product is highly rated with stylists and on forums so left me unimpressed.Colour didn't match advertising at all. It was just a plain medium/darkish brown hair dye which you can get from any supermarket or pharmacy and get better results. It couldn't even be removed without bleach. I guess if you are going to use it pick something at least two shades lighter than you expect to need. It's probably the worst hairdye I've ever used in the last 16 years.
I am a severely disabled widow and I have to have a nail technician to do my nails. As I have weak nails my technician recommended using WELLAS OPI Nail Envy to strengthen my nails. She purchased the OPI RED NAIL ENVY from SALON SERVICES in Loughton, Essex in June 2025. She followed OPI's application instructions to the letter, and when OPI recommended removing the Red Nail Envy, my technician tried to remove it with nail polish remover. However, not only was this impossible, but it also stained the skin on my fingers, and stained my nails and that of my technician for weeks afterwards despite frequent attempts with nail polish remover. I complained to OPI stating it was faulty and that a disclaimer should be on the outside of their Nail Envy packaging that it stains the skin on fingers and nails.OPI responded with an email stating and I quote "as the red nail envy has a strong colour payoff, to remove nail polish, soak a cotton pad with remover and press it on the nail for a few seconds before wiping and once again use a soaked cotton pad to go over the nails once more."However I had already explained to WELLAS OPI Customer Services on 27 June 2025, that this procedure had already been performed by my nail technician on numerous occasions, resulting in staining of my skin and nails, also making my nails very dry, brittle and splitting. WELLA also said they were sorry and were unable to assist me further. They also recommended reaching out to Salon Services if I wanted to pursue this further. My technician went to Salon Services and complained. Salon Services said they had been instructed by their Head Office, to refuse refunds for OPI RED NAIL ENVY.I find this level of customer service from both of these very large companies who both refuse to do anything atrocious. Apart from the fact Nail Envy is very expensive, it clearly is faulty, as I have never experienced in all my years of using different brands of nail polish such staining and damaging effects to my nails.
Product did not match advertising.I carefully selected a Clairol (part of Wella) hair colourant which clearly stated that it coloured grey hairs. I used the product exactly as advised and the results were very disappointing. None of the grey hair has been coloured. I have tried to contact the company using the UK phone number on the product insert and it advises using their website, which I have tried, but cannot email or submit a complaint. Obviously, having used this product, I cannot use an alternative hair colourant for the next few weeks..... very disappointingIf there was an option of no stars, that is what I would give.
I’m incredibly disappointed with the Wella Contura beard trimmer and Wella’s customer service. While the trimmer looks great, is easy to use, and delivers precise results, the product's durability is shockingly poor—especially for its premium price. Here’s my experience:First Trimmer: Stopped holding a charge after just 9 months. The power became so weak it was unusable. Wella refused to help, stating I needed to go through the third-party supplier. The supplier, however, insisted it was a manufacturing issue and directed me back to Wella.Subsequent Trimmers: I reluctantly purchased another Contura as I needed a trimmer, but within 6 months, it failed with the exact same issue. This pattern repeated with two more units, each lasting less than 6 months before becoming defective. In total, I’ve spent over £1,000 on four defective trimmers, and neither Wella nor the supplier has taken responsibility or offered any resolution. Wella’s dismissive approach to customer service is unacceptable for a brand positioning itself as high-end.I’m now left with four unusable trimmers and no confidence in Wella’s products or support. I will not be purchasing another Wella product again and would strongly caution others against doing so.
Worst customer service I have experienced. Tried for weeks to get information and help about a money back guarantee without any success. So many emails sent with replies promising they would help or have someone contact me which never happened. Please avoid this company
At the moment the advert that you have on the television with the blond woman I am sorry to say but there is no way that her hair would make me buy your product there is no shine no bounce nothing her hair looks like it need a lot of attention to get it in better condition
I have used Wella Waveit perm for many years and have been highly content, but now they have changed the composition and the perm had become bad quality. I am not writing about the new version, but the old one, marked with N. This is also confusing marketing. If they do not change it back to the earlier composition, I will use a perm from another brand next time.
Horrible Customer Service. I've contacted them twice regarding a defective product. Was told the same thing over and over again via email. I've use this same color treatment for years and have had this issue before. Certain boxes the color does not activate. Waited days and it stayed the same white color in the tray. Was told that it was fine and would turn brown on my hair! I doubt anyone would risk putting this mess on their hair and what it might do to it.
