The Flayr app is amazing! The people I have organised for hair and makeup never disappoint. This service makes getting ready for special occasions so easy. All I do is wash my hair the night before and wait for them to arrive. Everyone should use Flayr!

I’m beyond disappointed with my experience using Flayr, and I strongly urge anyone planning for an important event — especially something as significant as a wedding — to steer clear of this platform.Let me start with the only positive: the website is user-friendly and allows you to input preferences, makeup inspo, skin conditions, and preferred brands. That’s where the good experience ended — and quickly spiraled into a frustrating and frankly unacceptable ordeal.After paying my deposit and choosing a makeup artist, I reached out immediately to confirm all the critical details — time, date, and location — and to ask a few follow-up questions. Flayr claims that their artists respond within 24 hours. Mine? Completely unresponsive for over FOUR DAYS. Only after I escalated to customer support did she bother to reply — clearly nudged by them.You'd think things would improve after that — they did not. Communication continued to be one-sided. Despite booking over FOUR months in advance, my messages were ignored. At that point, I completely lost confidence in the artist and decided I couldn’t trust her to show up, let alone be reliable on such an important day. The last thing I wanted was to be chasing her through Flayr support on the morning of my wedding.So, I requested a refund. And here’s where things went from bad to worse.Not only was I refused a refund, I was offered a credit, but it gets worse. The credit can’t even be fully used at checkout. You can only apply a portion of it and are still expected to pay the difference. So now, even though I want nothing to do with Flayr anymore, I’m being forced to continue using the platform just to get any value out of the money they took, while continuing to spend more money than they deserve.To say this feels exploitative is an understatement. This company clearly does not prioritize customer experience, transparency, or accountability. I would’ve been happy to use the credit on a different artist or even gift it to someone else — but Flayr has made that nearly impossible.This whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I feel misled, ignored, and trapped.DO NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE. AVOID FLAYR AT ALL COSTS.

Creates transparency in prices and services and makes it easy to confirm availability of artists.would recommend the app. I was able to get an artist who did a great job in creating a 1920’s look for a birthday event
