I have nothing but absolute respect and gratitude for the way my mum's treatment has gone!
From the first enquiry to the aftercare, I cannot think of a single niggle or complaint.
I know people could say that providing good customer/patient service is part of the job, and to an extent I agree, but I’ve worked in the NHS for 11 years. I’ve seen good and bad practice, and I’ve seen people doing their job well. On the rare occasions you meet someone with real empathy and patience, it resonates.
I know we were lucky enough to be able to afford to go private, and on that Freedom came out the most reasonable for the level of treatment.... but I have to say Hannah is an absolute credit and value to the service. I felt so assured my mum was in caring hands that they were not just trying to make money and get you in and out.
Any question, Hannah was just a call away, and the call the day after surgery really assured my mum in her recovery from the procedure. We never felt pressured or
It has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish; every member of staff, from buzzing you in to the surgeon, has been first-class and a credit to your group. I would wholeheartedly recommend any treatment with them.

Excellent help and support

The staff were very friendly and always happy to help. My treatment was clearly explained to me. Over my period of treatment the surgeon rang me three times to answer any questions and to ensure that I had chosen the right lenses. The person who was my main contact could not have been more helpful and managed the process really well.

I was most impressed with my YAG laser…

I was most impressed with my YAG laser treatment. Optomotrist was unhurried, reassuringly capable and a good explainer. YAG laser capsulotomy a bit like living in the future. Great result.

The staff here from the cleaners to consultant are friendly, and helpful.The medical team are professionally competent they always explained what was going to happen and treated me with respect.

The assessment procedure dwas performed…

The assessment procedure was performed very professionally , however I was very disappointed I had to wait at least 3 weeks to have the yag treatment on one eye and then at least another 3 weeks for the second eye because the was an NHS appointment. Remarkable that you found time to rip me off £1190 to have It done privately.An option which I felt held to ransom as my sighr had become very poor.The fact that you need more than on appointment Should be more clearly stated RegardsMartyn lee

Right from the start when I discussed my lens options with Freedom Vision at the North Tyneside Medical Centre to the procedures to the follow ups following each lens replacement the process has been 100% professional and impressiveEvery step of the way the staff have been extremely friendly explaining everything to ensure any concerns I had were totally allayedThe surgeons and the staff are of the highest quality and I am more than satisfied with the astounding result

Fantastic experience

From initial consultation to final discharge thoroughly professional and friendly experience.At initial consultation optician patiently went through all options available to me and then booking made very efficiently for a time and place that suited me.A telephone consultation with the surgeon allayed all fears that I had going through all risks associated with the procedure.The actual operations on both eyes were amazingly quick and painless with no problems and again extremely professional and friendly staff.Post surgery follow up again extremely professional and friendly stressing the fact that if I had any problems there was a 24 hour line to contact.Overall an excellent experience from initial consultation to discharge, and I still can’t come to terms with the fact that I have gone from a prescription of 10 and 12 to zero and am now after 62 years wearing glasses am now free!!

I felt that I was in good hands with people that cared and had my well being at heart. My cataract procedure was explained well and my choices discussed clearly.
